Old, historical 2-family house "Il Torrione", 3 storeys. In the centre of Osteno 6 km from the centre of Porlezza, traffic calmed area, 20 m from the lake, in a cul-de-sac. Motor access to the house. Public parking 100 m on the road. Grocery, supermarket 6 km, restaurant 1 km, bar 5 m, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Lugano" 23 km, pebble beach 300 m, shingle beach 200 m. Golf course (18 hole) 15.5 km, riding stable 5.5 km. Nearby attractions: Villa Fogazzaro Roi, Grotte di Rescia, Cascate di Begna, Menaggio, Lugano, Villa Carlotta-Tremezzo. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Como 16 km. Hiking paths: Intelvi Valley 8 km. Please note: car recommended. Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. At the ground floor there is a bar.

All shops, restaurants etc. in Porlezza, 6 km. In the resort: post office. Waterfall. Sights Orrido di Osteno, Frazione Claino (borgo dipinto), Grotte di Rescia. Access: motorway A2 Milano - Lugano - Bellinzona, exit number "Lugano Nord" 27 m from Osteno. Then road N340 Lugano - Menaggio - Como. Access by train Milano - Lugano - Zürich / Basel. Railway station "Lugano" 21 m. Bus connection. Car ferry Cadenabbia/Como Lake - Bellagio / Varenna 20 km. Tremezzina/Como Lake 22 km. Milano 85 km.

Il Torrione etait une location apaisante avec vue et acces direct au bord du lac de lugano. Nous avons adore la situation proche du lac de Come sans l'agitation. Seul le weekend etait anime par le restaurant au RDC et la musique 'live' dont nous avons egalement profite et apprecie sans etre deranges. Seul bemol le disfonctionnement du WC, complique pendant tout notre sejour.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt gut erreichbar in Osteno. Ausladen vor dem Haus ist kein Problem allerdings muss das Auto auf einen öffentlichen Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Dieser ist aber Kameraüberwacht und bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten, den die Parkplätze vor dem Haus bzw. Uferstraße sind eigentlich den Anwohnern vorbehalten. Die Wohnung bietet eine gute Aufteilung zwischen Wohnbereich und Schlafräumen. Allerdings fehlt eine Türe vom Durchgangszimmer zum Wohnbereich.
