Customer reviews Moneglia

The Villa is well located between train station and beach/center of Moneglia. The flat is relatively spacious for a holiday apartment and the owner was friendly (free late check-out). Some parts of the apartment were renovated (one bathroom). Also the fridge is new. Unfortunately the furniture is partly not in a good condition, particularly one bed and several chairs almost falling apart. Moreover one of the two showers could not be used. The floors obviously weren't cleaned before our arrival.

Wonderful place and apartment. Beautiful location. And the people from the service are fantastic. We have visited the villa twice already and that means it is worth it. Moneglia is wonderful.

The apartment was very clean and beautifully presented, with plenty of space and a beautiful view over the bay. The kitchen was very well appointed and included a brand new dishwasher. We had a problem with the electricity and oven, but the owner was speedy and effective in his response. It is a great base for exploring the Cinque Terre by rail and walkable to a clean and safe beach.

The medieval church of San Giorgio was inhabited by Franciscan monks for centuries. Plain on the outside, there are many details to discover inside. A wooden group depicts Saint George as a dragon slayer. A canvas depiction of George is said to be by Rubens.
