During a walk through Ravenna, you stroll on the medieval cobblestones and admire impressive buildings from the Lombard early Romanesque period. The largely preserved original state of the center of Trieste enchants visitors with a special charm. Stroll from the Piazza Unita d’Italia, the town center, through the old streets and take a look at the mosaic-adorned cathedral or the medieval Castello di San Giusto as well as the Faro della Vittoria lighthouse.
One of the significant landmarks of Cesenatico is the canal port: The Leonardo's canal port, built in the Middle Ages, became a research subject of the famous Leonardo da Vinci. He conducted surveying work here. Today, it is a museum port. Admire the floating exhibits of the Museo della Marineria. Mighty sailboats with distinctive colorful sails are crowd-pullers.
