We spent two weeks at this wonderful house. It has everything you need and some truely wonderful outside seating areas. Christophe was there if we needed him but otherwise invisible. The house is located really well to explore the area and markets. The house has everything you need to enjoy your holiday and some really unique features and antiques. We would love to come back one day.

Beautiful farmhouse in quiet surroundings. Accommodated my family of seven with plenty of space for everyone, and everything we needed was there. The hosts are charming, helpful and nearby if needed, and left us to enjoy our time there. The train station is a walk away, as are shops etc. I would recommend to all, and would love to go back someday.

Mooi huis op voormalige boerderij. Mooie rustige tuin met leuke overdekte eetplaats. Overal hangen oude werktuigen, kunstwerken, oude wapens, klokken, enz. Kamerindeling is top, door de grootte van het huis heeft iedere kamer toch genoeg privacy. Fijn zwembad, 12,5 m lang ongeveer. Het stadje is niet zo mooi maar wel een goede bakker en een grote supermarkt. Prima vakantiewoning voor een verblijf van een week. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars waarvan één in dezelfde straat woont.

Ein sehr schönes, originell eingerichtetes Ferienhaus auf einem sehr gepflegten riesigen Grundstück mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Schöner Pool. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Schöne Ausflugsziele, die recht schnell erreichbar sind: z. B. das Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, Châtelaillon-Plage, Niort. Der Bahnhof von Mauzé ist fußläufig zu erreichen, so dass man La Rochelle, Niort oder Poitiers bequem mit dem Zug erreichen kann.

Wunderschönes, charaktervolles, gut ausgestattetes Haus in riesigem, sehr gepflegten Garten mit beheiztem Poll in ruhiger Lage mit sehr sympathischem und sehr hilfsbereitem Vermieter. Sehr ruhige Lage im Grünen, sehr gut Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

4 weeks staying at C. lovely house so lucky. C. is a great Guy - speaks as much English as I do French, but we got by fine. The house is v spacious and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Great to have the exclusive use of a pool also. A canal runs behind the property which is lovely to walk along. Mauze is quite a quiet place but only a 15 minute walk from home. Everyone v friendly in the bars. LOTS of fun places to visit and enjoy all over. Highly recommended.

One suggestion. Would help to have fans in the bedrooms. The shutters help, but when it’s hot the rooms are stuffy.

Wat een heerlijke vakantie woning is dit. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Rust, ruimte privacy en comfort. Wie het hier niet naar zijn zin heeft, heeft dat er echt naar gemaakt. Eigenaren zijn zorgzaam en lief. Wonen naast de woning, maar afgezien dat ze soms helemaal achterin de tuin een doorsteek maken naar wat schuurtjes en land, zie je ze niet en hoor je ze niet. Kortom echt een top huis!! ps er is zelfs een traplift aanwezig, dus nagenoeg iedere groep kan hier terecht.

Prachtige, geheel omheinde tuin. Een speelparadijs voor honden. Mooi huis dat door alle attributen wel op een klein museum lijkt. Vriendelijke eigenaar, tevens buurman, die wel eens in de tuin komt voor tuinwerkzaamheden maar waar je geen last van hebt. Klein minpuntje, het grote zwembad is deels overkapt. Een zeer groot huis van bijna alles voorzien. Vanwege allerlei attributen die er staan en hangen is het net een klein museum. Een meer dan prachtige, zeer grote tuin. Ideaal voor mensen met honden. Ook wegloop honden, zoals wij hebben, kunnen er niet uit, tuin is volledig omheind. Een mooi groot zwembad. 1 minpuntje, de helft van het zwembad is overkapt. De eigenaar, tevens buurman, komt wel eens in de tuin ivm tuinonderhoud maar daar heb je geen last van en meneer Christophe is een meer dan vriendelijke man die je kan helpen waar nodig. Wij hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad. Astrid en René.

Maison de caractère très agréable. Au vu de la décoration intérieure et de l'âge de la maison (construction vers 1850 il me semble), on se croit revenir dans le passé mais avec quand même le confort des temps modernes. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et il est vraiment à votre écoute en cas de problème.On a apprécié, surtout en ce moment avec les fortes chaleurs, la grande piscine avec un sympathique coin apéro au bord. En conclusion, je recommande ce gîte pour son calme et son originalité.

Just returned from a weeks stay. The house is so much better that it shows in the photos. The pool area is spacious and has electric blinds around the seating area as well as an electric canopy to add shade. The pool is half covered but this didn’t really make any difference to enjoying the pool. The house is huge! It has everything and more than you would need for a holiday. There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive, as well as a local market twice a week in the village. Will be back one day!

Met 5 volwassenen hebben wij 2 weken in dit schitterende huis vakantie mogen vieren. Al ruim 20 jaar huren wij huizen in Frankrijk maar dit huis sprong er echt uit. Een kruising tussen een vakantiehuis en een museum. Super groot, uitzonderlijk schoon, zeer veel vrijheid, prachtige kamers, geweldig buitenverblijf en zwembad, en een geweldige ontvangst door de broers C. en B. M. . Het genot van de rust in, en om het huis was heerlijk. Bedankt Christophe en Buno en wellicht tot ziens
