192 km north of Kajaani, Lake Tyräjärvi 30 m (length 12 km, width 4 km), shallow shore, rather soft moraine bottom, shore partly stony, jetty, own boat and outboard motor. The clients has to purchase fuel themselves for the outboard motor. Log and wooden board house, originally built during 1930s, last renovated 2004, living room/kitchen still has original log walls visible, walls in other rooms are covered. Large living room with convertible sofa/bed, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, sauna (wood-burning stove), washroom, room with fireplace (convertible sofa/bed), WC, glazed "summer room" with electric light. Separate sleeping cabin (in summer use) with 1 bed and 3 mattresses, suitable for children. Lakeshore sauna building, with sauna itself (wood-burning stove) and dressing room. Grill house, with electric light and terrace. Outdoor hot tub, available at extra fee. Storm Paula in June 2021 fell a lot of trees from the yard, so the view of the lake and the neighbor is now wider than in the photos. Delightful arrangement with large grassed, children-friendly yard area. Some of the energy is produced by solar panels. Internet connection: 200 Megan fiber connection and mesh routers, so the connection is stable and fast, eg for teleworking. The electric car can be charged in addition to the normal socket with 400 volts of power (no extra charge, cables to be brought by yourself). Plot has e.g. currant bushes; fruit on these can be freely picked and eaten in season. Owner rents out Lynx Adventure Touring (2013) snowmobile. Jokijärvi cultural sights including Finnish writer Kalle Päätalo’s childhood home at Kallioniemi 11 km, Kylmäluoma hiking area 10 km, Julma Ölkky canyon lake 25 km. Taivalkoski village 32 km. Kuusamo 64 km, Ruka 90 km, Kajaani 192 km, Oulu 190 km. Fishing: Lake Tyräjärvi (pike-perch, pike, perch, whitefish, burbot), Lake Jokijärvi, Lake Koiviojärvi, Kylmäluoma fishing area 10 km. Cabin can be reached by car all year round.
