20 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6 km, lake Iso-Veskajärvi 30 m, shallow sand/pebble beach, rowing boat. Two-story log cabin, built in 2006. Living room, kitchenette, electric sauna. 2 bedrooms, one with double bed (140 cm wide), the other with a bed + bunk bed (lower part 120 cm). Upstairs: two sleeping alcoves (without doors), both with two beds and 2 mattresses. Cottage VESKANNIEMI is located in the middle of the forest, near the lake. Barbecue hut near the shore, Muurikka griddle pan and smoker box. Net permits for fishing. Garage/storage. Children's gate at the bottom and top of the loft stairs. Other distances: Oulanka National Park and Pieni Karhunkierros -hiking trail 25 km, Riisitunturi fell 32 km, Hossa National Park 100 km.
