Location Description Ascona

196 m a.s.l. >>Ascona is the lowest-lying town in Switzerland. It lies 196 metres above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Ascona is famous for its old town, the southern lakeside promenade with its street cafés and its mild climate. In Ascona's old town centre, Borgo, lies the impressive church of San Pietro e Paolo, a pillared basilica from the 16th century, whose high bell tower is the landmark of the holiday resort. The branching old town streets lead to the car-free lakeside promenade with charming street cafés. Above Ascona lies Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. Here, lateral thinkers founded a colony at the beginning of the 20th century, which attracted celebrities from all over the world. Today, the mountain is a seminar centre for the universities of Lucerne and Zurich and a museum shows the history of the alternative colony and its founders. Wir hatten eine schöne Ferienwoche in Ascona. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und an einer super Lage. Man konnte alles super zu Fuss erreichen zum Einkaufen, in die Badi, an den See/Promenade. Einfach toll!

Wir haben uns sofort "Zuhause" gefühlt. Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für einen Ferienaufenthalt ist alles vorhanden, jedoch haben wir Liegestühle vermisst. Dank zentraler Lage ist fast alles zu Fuss erreichbar. (Einkaufen, Restaurants, Lago)

Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, kommen gerne wieder. Pro: Chek in unkompliziert, Fr.F. sehr freundlich\nWohnraum sehr großzügig\nhelle Wohnung Contra: Weiss nicht ob es wegen Coronamassnahmen fehlte, die Küche ist total leer, erwarteten wenigstens Salz zum Kochen oder Öl zum braten. Aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in der Nähe.

Die Wohnung ist für eine Ferienwohnung gut eingerichtet. Verfügt über genügend Geschirr und ist zweckmässig ohne grossen Schnickschnack eingerichtet. Betten/Matrazen sind sehr gut und wir haben die Wohnung sehr sauber vorgefunden. Das Haus ist ringhörig und so waren wir dankbar, dass die Belegung nicht vollständig war :-) Auf Grund von Covid-19 fand kein persönlicher Kontakt vor Ort statt. Deshalb dazu keine Bewertung. Die Korrespondenz war aber sehr gut und alles top vorbereitet.

Schöne und gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung an zentraler und dennoch ruhiger Wohnlage. Wir waren zu zweit und in jeder Beziehung absolut zufrieden. Die Wohnung wäre auch für 4 Personen noch recht komfortabel, für 6 Personen mit gewissen Einschränkungen, aber ebenfalls möglich. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterinnen in der Verwaltung (Frau F. und Kollegin).
