Location Description Højer

Small, picturesque village with 1'150 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region 3 km from the sea, 12 km west from Tønder, 77 km south-east from Esbjerg. In the resort: supermarket, butchery, bank, restaurant, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, sauna at 15 km. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 15 km. Sights Højer Mølle 500 m, Højer slussen 3 km, Ribe VikingeCenter 45 km, Kids' club Legoland 115 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

All watersports available in Lakolk, Rømø 40 km. Beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 4 km from the resort. Sandy beach, 10 m long, up to 900 m wide, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 40 m from the resort. Surfing. Golf course 18 hole in Tønder 20 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Das Haus war sehr groß und schön. Allerdings, war es teilweise etwas dreckig in den Ecken. Die Staubsaugertüte war voll, es war keine neue zu finden, wir mußten sie lehren. Einen Besen habe ich nicht gefunden. Das Rost zum Grillen war extrem verschmutzt. Eine Dusche war defekt, bei 18 Personen war das dann schon schwierig.

Wir haben uns in diesem blitzsauberen und schönen Ferienhaus sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet, die Betten sind äußerst bequem und auch Regentage kann man gut aushalten. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert vom Aktivitätenraum und der reichhaltigen Spielesammlung.Wir kommen gern noch einmal hier hin. Die Betreuung von Sol og Strand war hervorragend…

Gut ausgestattete Küche, gemütliches Sofa, der Freizeitraum mit der Dartscheibe hat Spaß gemacht. Leider gibt es keine direkten Fuß- oder Wanderwege. Die Fußbodenheizung besser sofort runterdrehen, da es 2 Tage dauert, bis die Temperatur runtergefahren ist.

Das Haus & Grundstück im großen & ganzen mega schön außer das es bißchen Renovierungsbedürftig ist... Die Zimmeraufteilungen war super... Die Kinder hatte sehr viel Spaß in dem großen Garten... Die Ruhe in Dänemark ist einfach entspannt, wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen... Das Welan müsste mal überholt werden, es ging nicht im ganzen Haus sondern nur dort wo der Router stand also im Wohnzimmer... Die große Küche hat nur einen Herd & nur einen Backofen... Da war die Zubereitung der Mahlzeiten schon eine große Herausforderung für 18 Personen.. Sauberkeit des Geschirr mangelhaft...

Das Ferienhaus könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen und es hätte etwas sauberer sein kömmen. Es hat eine große Küche aber nur ein Kochfeld und nur einen Backofen. Da wird die Zubereitung der Mahlzeiten zur Herausforderung. Zwei Geschirrspülmaschinen wären ebenfalls zum Vorteil.
