Location Description Hirtshals

Quiet fishing village with 5'800 inhabitants, in the northern part of the region, directly by the sea, 50 km south-west from Skagen, 70 km north from Ålborg. In the resort: supermarket, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights The North Sea Oceanarium 1 km, Hirtshals Lighthouse 2 km, Kids' club Fun-Park 4 km.

Summer

All watersports available in Kjul strand. Sandy beach, 6 km long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 6 km from the resort. Surfing, canoeing. Golf course 15 hole 7 km. Minigolf 5 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, mountain bikes for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Vi havde en rigtig fin uge, den første dag regnede det meget og der meget vand ind af vinduet i et ene værelse, gudskelov holdt det tørvejr resten af ferien. Køleskabet kølede ikke korrekt, så mælk mv var ikke helt koldt.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen in dem Haus und hatten somit mehr als genug Platz. Die vielfältigen Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen haben uns sehr begeistert. Die technische Ausstattung war wirklich gut (WLAN wie Fernsehen). Die technische Ausstattung in der Küche war in Ordnung, die Geräte sind zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, haben aber insgesamt gut funktioniert. Auch wenn die Nachbarn relativ nah sind, hat man aufgrund der Bepflanzung um das Haus absolut seine Ruhe.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, Küche hat alles was man braucht, vor allem viel Geschirr. Betten waren bequem. Einziges Manko, es gibt keine Wäscheständer, nach einem Strandtag möchte man die Handtücher trocknen und die Badesachen. Wir haben uns beholfen, indem wir draußen, zwischen den Säulen eine Leine gespannt haben.

Für Gruppen toll viel Geschirr, große Töpfe etc. - Zimmer ok- Bad zweckmaßig hübsch gemacht groß- Sauna toll - Spa, wenn sauber - nett gemacht. Viele Gartenstühle Tische etc. - Liegen selbst mitbringen Tolles Grundstück mit viel Platz - Außenaktivitäten möglich
