Customer reviews in Tyrol

The family run apartment was wonderful. Lovely facilities, comfy beds and stunning views. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Thank you very much x

This beautifully maintained apartment house exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts were incredibly friendly and professional, making our stay feel warm and seamless. We'd happily return anytime!

High up overlooking the valley so amazing views. spent many evenings on the balcony staring at the views. clean inside with good size rooms. wifi was good. We saw deer on the fields behind property often. Ten minutes and your back in the valley for days out. need to take a extra pillow with you. hosts were great and helpful with any questions. loved our stay here. There is no washing machine but there is somewhere to hang things outside.

We stayed for two weeks, apartment very clean and spacious, beautiful Mountain View’s, owner really friendly and helpful, was nice to daily order bread, lovely easy access into Italy and Switzerland and local towns not far to drive to.

We stayed in 2 and 3 bed rooms. The apartment is away from noise. Mountains, pastures, hiking trails nearby. The kitchen is excellently equipped. Unfortunately, the wifi does not work or is slow. Because of this, the registration took a long time. The Sommer Card is very worth the price.

Very nice appartment in a good central location, supermarket etc were close. Location is very good if you want to visit more areas (Serfaus/Fiss/Ladis are near, but also easy to go to Nauders, Kaunertal, Pitztal, etc). It was a spatious appartment with a nice balcony, two bathrooms which were clean and both had very good showers. Friendly landlord, always willing to help. Good food in their restaurant near Prutz The matresses were a little on the hard side and the pillows a little soft.

A lovely stay in a well-appointed, clean apartment with excellent facilities and a good location. The kids loved the pool and the games room and didn't want to leave.

This is the second time we have stayed in the same apartment and we were vindicated in our return. The place is clean, tidy, and has everything you could need for a weeks stay. Close to the towns main street and the Spar supermarket that provides everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Booking it again now for another stop next year!

Seefeld in Tirol

The cultural highlights of the community include the parish church, the former Augustinian monastery, and the castle ruins of Schlossberg. However, Seefeld in Tirol is primarily the starting point for long hikes and bike tours through the nearby mountains. Excursions to the many lakes in the area, such as the Wildsee, are particularly recommended.

Ehrwald

Ehrwald

Ehrwald welcomes you at 1,000 m with the unique panorama of the Zugspitze. Lush green meadows, dense forests, and the rugged rocks of the Wetterstein Mountains create a unique contrast. Climbing, hiking, and mountain biking are popular summer activities in the Ehrwald valley basin. A golf course invites you to perfect your swing.

Innsbruck

Innsbruck

Start your city tour in the centuries-old center of Innsbruck and see one of the most famous landmarks, the Golden Roof. Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Cathedral of St. James, the Imperial Palace with the Court Church, and some traditional inns through the pedestrian zones.

Tyrol - The most beautiful natural sights

Your chalets in Tyrol promises a variety of nature experiences. Start your journey with the refreshing Achensee, which, due to its location at around 900 m, warms up to a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius. Here you can splash around in the beach baths in Pertisau and Achenkirch, relax on well-kept lawns, or engage in activities such as diving, wind and kite surfing, sailing, stand-up paddling, and canoeing. The next highlight is the Krimml Waterfalls, which were formed during the Ice Age and cascade over a height of 380 m in three stages. The Krimml Waterfall Trail leads you to the most beautiful viewpoints. Continue to the Stubai Glacier, where after a scenic gondola ride to 2,000 m and a short hike, you reach the Top of Tyrol viewing platform. Here, in clear weather, you can see 109 peaks over 3,000 meters. The ski area on the Stubai Glacier offers 35 easy to challenging slopes from October to May and attracts freeriders from all over the world. The next destination is the wild and romantic Zillertal with around 1,400 kilometers of hiking trails, family-friendly routes in the valley, and challenging mountain tours in the High Mountain Nature Park Zillertal Alps. Cyclists can explore the Zillertal Cycle Path and the single trail on the Isskogel, while skiers enjoy year-round snow fun in the Ski and Glacier World Zillertal3000. Finally, you reach the Zugspitze in the Wetterstein Mountains, which you can explore on hiking trails of varying difficulty. For a cozy stopover, managed huts along the way are recommended. Alternatively, you can use the Bavarian Zugspitze Railway or the Tyrolean Zugspitze Railway to reach the summit, where a spectacular view over four countries and the Eastern Alps awaits you.

Holiday Homes in the Tirol

The Tirol, the heart of the Alps and symbol of Austria, is the ideal destination in summer as well as winter. This region offers varied possibilities throughout the year. Fantastic mountain scenery awaits nature lovers. Why not go hiking as a couple, with friends or family in the Grossglockner national park in Western Tirol. Don’t forget to visit Innsbruck, the capital of the Tirol. Join those ice sport lovers on the Tyrolean glaciers. The Tirol is a dynamic region which has kept its authentic charm and traditions. The calender year is dotted with many local celebrations, such as the “desalpe” which takes place throughout the Tirol from mid-September to October.

The beautiful Tirol region of Austria is renowned for its majestic and enchanting mountain landscape, making it a stunning location for both Winter and Summer holidays. The mountains are truly remarkable with more than 500 peaks higher than 3000 m, more than 600 glaciers as well as lush green meadows and valleys dotted with alpine huts. Many visitors travel to the Tirol to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, while others go looking for the thrills of alpine skiing and toboganning.

Chalet Holidays in the Tirol

Almost 15000 hiking paths are available for visitors to the Tirol. Families love the easier hiking routes whilst sport lovers like throwing themselves into the more difficult tracks such as the Aigle. If you would rather explore the region by bike then hundreds of kilometers of cycle trails wind through some very impressive countryside. Family cycle trails allow stress-free exploration of the stunning mountain scenery with the children. If you prefer water activities, then try some sailing or kitesurfing on Achensee lake. Hiking and rock climbing are also popular activities in the warm summer months and, in the Winter, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the exciting skiing in resorts such as Kitzbuhel. The Tirol villages and towns are famous for their traditional customs, as well as offering some of the best museums and other cultural attractions. Why not enjoy a visit to this wonderful region staying in your very own cosy, mountain chalet? Make the most of the freedom of self-catering - enjoy breakfast on your terrace or balcony, whilst breathing in the fresh mountain air and looking forward to the day’s skiing or hiking through amazing scenery.

Self-catering Holiday Homes in the Tirol

Why not cook up some of the regional produce in the comfort of your own holiday home kitchen, or venture out to the local inn to sample some of the local specialities and relax after a long day in the mountain air. There are plenty of excellent star rated restaurants throughout the Tirol. Why not visit a local dairy or farm where you can taste the famous mountain cheeses such as “Heumilchkase” or the “Paznauner Almkase”. As well as the mountains, there are also plenty of crystal clear lakes to wonder at or even take a dip in if the Summer weather gets too warm!
