Zell am See
The undisputed highlight of Zell am See is the deep blue Lake Zell. On its shores, you can enjoy wonderful hiking, breathe in the fresh air, and even swim in the summer. Bad Gastein

Kaprun's local mountain and landmark is the distinctive Kitzsteinhorn. Salzburg - Climate
Salzburg is located on the northern edge of the Alps, which provides a warm-temperate climate. Due to its special location in the rain shadow, there is increased rainfall throughout the year. The "Salzburger Schnürlregen" is well-known. March and October are particularly rainy. The best time to travel is during the summer months when the thermometer averages 23°C. However, a visit to the city of Mozart is worthwhile all year round. In April and May, temperatures often reach 20°C. From November to March, it is also ski season with comparably mild temperatures between 4°C and 9°C. The world-famous Christkindlmarkt already begins at the end of November.
