Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm), TV. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Bath/WC, shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Balcony, south facing position and, east facing position. Balcony furniture. View of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

House/Residence

Large, cosy apartment house "Vitalis", 4 storeys, built in 1983, renovated in 2016. In the district of Steinmatte 800 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Grocery 400 m, supermarket 800 m, restaurant 50 m, bar, bakery 400 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Luchre" 100 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.1 km. Mountain railway 500 m, ski rental, ski bus stop 100 m. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Cervinia.

Le logement est bien placé, calme et bien aménagé mais le style est assez vieillot et il serait bien de le rénover. La 2eme salle de bain est vraiment petite.

L’appartement est confortable, bonne literie, cuisine bien équipée…mais mobilier vraiment vieillot. Aucune vue malheureusement et très sombre. L’éclairage étant très mauvais de surcroît. Une des deux salles de bains et très bien. L’autre ne convient absolument pas à une personne plus âgée telle que ma mère, car les WC sont mal placés derrière la douche (erreur de conception visiblement).

Appartement avec beau potentiel mais beaucoup trop vétuste pour le prix, même s'il est bien situé. Nous sommes déçus par le manque de respect des propriétaires. les coussins du sofa ont des trous, les couleurs des meubles sont passées, bref, à rénover. Et nous n'y reviendrons pas. San parler de la poubelle qui touche la tuyauterie arrière et a provoquer une ouverture de la canalisation. Dommage. Au niveau de l'agence, dommage qu'ils mettent en location à ce prix un tel appartement

Lovely view from balcony. Clean and well equipped apartment in good location. Only one thing. Please fix the socket for the kettle as the whole wall plate comes off which is dangerous.

Die Wohnung ist schön gross und ruhig gelegen. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung ist allerdings schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Grundsätzlich ist aber alles da. Der zweite Waschraum mit Dusche und WC ist sehr eng, man muss sich an der Dusche vorbei zwängen zum WC und kann kaum sitzen mit längeren Beinen. Vom oberen Stock hört man aber knarrende Geräusche wenn sich Leute bewegen.

Wir kennen uns sehr gut aus in Zermatt, darum haben wir die Wegbeschreibung nicht gebraucht. Der Backofen ist leider in die Jahre gekommen und die Oberhitze funktioniert nicht mehr. Unsere Schinkengipfeli waren nach einer Stunde im Backofen unten verbrannt und oben noch weich. Schade. Sonst sehr gemütliche Wohnung und sauber.
