2-room apartment 68 m2 on 1st floor, south facing position. Beautiful and cosy furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed (140 cm, length 200 cm), dining table, cable TV and radio. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Small kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Large, beautiful apartment house "Silence", 4 storeys, renovated in 2014. In the district of Winkelmatten, 1.2 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: lift, central heating system. Grocery 600 m, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 300 m, bakery 600 m, 25 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestiboden" 60 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.2 km. Mountain railway 800 m, ski rental 800 m, ski bus stop 60 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Apartment ist gut ausgestattet. Schöner Blick auf das Matterhorn. Es können sechs Leute gemütlich übernachten. Leider ist es an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas runtergekommen. Lage ist ein wenig außerhalb des Zentrums von Zermatt. Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür.

Die Wohnung hat ihren Zweck erfüllt. Betten sind bequem, Küche zweckmässig gut. Der Balkon mit dem wunderbaren Blick aufs Matterhorn ist definitiv das Highlight der Wohnung! Bus vor dem Haus ideal. Die Lampen in der Wohnung sind bei der Aufhängung kaputt, die Kabel hängen runter. Das Badezimmer weist Schimmel auf und auch im Wohnbereich deuten die Wände auf Feuchtigkeit hin. Es gab genügend saubere Frotteewäsche und Bettlaken.

Appartment hat eine gute Lage mit Busverbindung vor dem Haus. Es ist sauber, die Küche großzügig ausgestattet. Der Rost im Doppelstockbett muss aber dringend ausgetauscht werden. Das Bett hängt durch.

My review on departure 19.03.2022. The bed mattresses are substandard, too soft and bad quality. The bathroom also needs update. The kitchen and living room are well equipped for comfortable short stay. Also, access to control of internal temperature has been lacking. Regarding the front info provided, use of e-bus should be clarified.

Thank you for your comments. We confirm that the e-bus information is provided in the property description, which is also written in your travel documents. The property has a central regulation for heating, however an electrical heating is provided in the cupboard, in the instance that the place gets colder than anticipated. We encourage guests to contact the keyholder immediately, for any issues that arises during your stay with us.

Réservation simple, efficace par mail. A l'arrivée, coffre ouvert avec les infos claires envoyées. Le taxi nous a conduit sur place rapidement. Dans les points d'améliorations, il manquait 2 fourres de taies d'oreiller. Après un passage à l'agence, cela a été tout de suite corrigé.... Le concierge appelé a été très aimable.

Le logement est fidèle aux photos et correct. Par contre, les lits superposés ne disposent pas de sommiers mais d'un filet qui a pris une forme de crevasse. Pas idéal pour se reposer confortablement.
