Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Mountain railway 150 m, ski rental 150 m, ski bus stop 35 m, ski school 450 m, children's ski school. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Although well located, the appartment has less than the minimum of accessories, a TV not working properly. I made the comments to Interhome, but replied it is the Landlord choice. Really disappointing. It would not cost much to the landlord to invest on few accessories. and Interhome should relay client's feedback.

Die Wohnung ist ok, wenn man nicht länger als zwei, drei Nächte bleibt. Küche sehr klein. Trotz nachfragen bei Interhome, konnte keine richtige Antwort gegeben werden, zur vorhandenen Kaffeesystem. Onlinebuchung über Interhome kompliziert.

We had a lovely stay in this unit, it was clean well stocked and comfortable. We loved the location just down the hill from the train terminal. It had bakeries and restaurants close by. Sadly the location had one downfall there were loud groups of people outside not far from our unit each night we were there, which interrupted our sleep. Also if you like to watch TV there was no way to turn off the voice assist without logging into the TV. Other than that the unit was great for us.

Die Wohnung war äusserst sauber, ruhig, die Lage war perfekt, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr bequeme Betten, grosser Balkon. Immer heisses Wasser zum Duschen. Die Wohnung ist grösser als von Bildern geschätzt wurde. Nahe zu allen Bahnen und Gondeln, Bus ein paar Schritte entfernt, Bäckerei nebenan, Lebensmittel Läden, Restaurants, Recycle, alle ein paar Minuten. Matterhorn Aussicht neben dem Gebäude. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

In one word - fantastic. Excellent location, convenient to all sightseeing/gondolas, shopping, bus stop steps away, very good bakery and bistro right next door, restaurants in short walking distance. Still, very quiet due to only electric vehicles and not much partying at night, everyone up early for mountain trips. Matterhorn view steps away. Spotless clean and much more spacious apartment than pictures suggest. Loved the balcony, included a clothes drying rack. Very well equiped kitchen, everything we could ask for or needed. Fluffy towels, plenty hot water for showers. Super comfy bed. Recycling bins close by. Friendly staff in office, easy key pick up and drop off, very quick response when we requested an extra towel. If anything could make it even more perfect, perhaps add a clothes hook on back of bathroom door, and add a grab bar for easier exit from tub. One of the most enjoyable places we ever rented.
