Bright, beautiful and tasteful furnishings: open living/dining room with 2 fold-away beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), dining table and cable TV (flat screen), radio. Exit to the balcony. Kitchenette in the entrance (3 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso)). Bath/WC. Heating. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the lake, the mountains, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: not suitable for small children. Non-smokers only. Kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine (the capsules must be brought along by guests) and toaster. NL-00004457

Apartment block "Castagnola (Utoring)". In the resort 3 km from the centre of Lugano, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, south-east facing position. In the house: reception, lift, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Motor access to the house. Public parking 15 m on the road extra. Shop 1.6 km, restaurant 200 m, café 200 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "San Michele" 30 m, railway station "Lugano SBB-CFF-FFS". Golf course (18 hole) 13 km, tennis 1.6 km, minigolf 13 km, walking paths from the house 10 m. Nearby attractions: Gandria 2 km, Swiss Miniatur, Melide 10 km, Museum of Chocolat, Caslano 13 km, Outlet Fox Town, Mendrisio 22 km, Lido di Lugano 1.6 km, Mercato: Ponte Tresa IT, Como IT. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Lugano, Lago di Como, Lago Maggiore. Hiking paths: Monte Bré, San Salvatore, Monte Tamaro, & Splash and SPA, Malcantone, Monte Lema. Please note: Additional accommodations can be booked. Property ref. CH6976.100 is situated on the same property. All houses/apartments are individually designed/furnished. ,The flat house is located at the foot of Monte Bré. It offers a magnificent view over the bay of Lugano and Monte San Salvatore. (not from apartment 208, which does not have a view of the lake.) Some parking spaces (8 in total) are available (CHF 56.00 / week). Please note: The parking space can only be confirmed and allocated upon arrival. Public parking spaces (blue zone, paid) are available nearby. Important: The parking card for the blue zone must be obtained from the city / police (CHF 10.00 / day, CHF 30.00 / week, max. 3 weeks). Information on site. The parking of bicycles is not possible. Bus line 2 goes directly from / to Lugano station 200 m in front of the residence!

Location Description Lugano

272 m a.s.l. >>Large, well-known town directly by the Lago di Lugano. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor aquatic centre. Lugano is celebrated for its congress, the banks, the businesses and also for its flowers, its villas and its moderate climate. Is has lush vegetation and beautiful landscapes. The mixture of the Italian atmosphere and Swiss efficiency is captivating. The historical town centre, which is pedestrian only is inviting with it's various arcades, museums, boutiques and restaurants. It is also a great place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Good starting point for trips to: San Salvatore and the Mountain Bre (mountain railway) or towards the lake. Fete in October.

L'appartamento è nella norma anche se un pò datato. le cose che ci hanno lasciato perplessi: la richiesta di 300 euro di cauzione, il pagamento di una busta della spazzatura per 1,20 euro! e la mancanza del bidet. C'è da dire che la vista sul lago è molto bella e la vicinanza alla fermata del bus circa 300 mt è molto comoda.

Das Apartment hat eine Super Aussicht auf den Lago di Lugano, den Mo te San Salvatore und Lugano. Süd/Ostrichtung und gut mit dem Bus an Bahnhof und Zentrum zu erreichen. Lebensmittel und Grundausstattung zum Kochen/Frühstück müssen mitgebracht oder vor Ort gekauft werden. Sehr gute Betreuung durch Verwalterin Frau B.

Fantastic view. Parking was convenient. Tasteless decoration. Old bathroom - bathtub with plastic curtains... Beds short - feet outside mattress (I'm 6 feet tall). Towels with holes. Everything was cheap and/or run-down. Photos on booking.com where not our apartment. Price to quality ratio was absurd.

ausgezeichneter Empfang mit bereits gemachten Betten und dem Notwendigen für das 1. Frühstück. In der Wohnung fehlt es nichts. Die Aussicht ist die beste in Lugano. Schade, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt, besonders an heissen Tagen. Andererseits ist der Lärm durch die Arbeiten in den anderen Gebäuden eine echte Lärmbelästigung.

Die Lage und der Ausblick waren die einzigen Highlights des Studios. Der Parkplatz und der Bus sind direkt vor dem Haus und die Stadt kann auch bequem zu Fuss erreicht werden. Weniger ansprechend waren die gesamte Einrichtung inklusive Bad und Küche - sehr retro, mehrheitlich alt und viele Gebrauchsspuren.

Die Lage ist perfekt, um diese Hammeraussicht vom Balkon aus auf den See und den Monte San Salvatore zu geniessen. Gut zu erreichen mit dem Bus und einigen Minuten Fussweg. Zu Fuss ist man schnell in der Natur. Die Küche ist gut bestückt mit allem, was man braucht. Der Balkon ist möbliert, das Bad tiptop. Das Klappbett im Wohnzimmer ist bequem. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Highlight der Ferienwohnung ist zweifelsohne der Balkon mit der einzigartigen Aussicht in alle Richtungen. Die Wohnung selbst ist funktionell, praktisch und bequem eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Speziell für öV-Reisende ist ideal, dass man alle Orte im Tessin dank der nahegelegenen Busverbindung ins Zentrum und zum Bahnhof von Lugano erreichen kann. Ich kann die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen. Es war ein erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Den Utoring Castagnola habe ich vor 60 Jahren schon als kleiner Bub kennengelernt. Und auch jetzt geniesse ich wieder die Vorzüge des "Utoring-Prinzips": ansprechende bequeme Möblierung, Schrankbetten, die eingeklappt tagsüber ein grosses Wohnzimmer ermöglichen, grosse Sauberkeit, herzlicher Empfang und Abschied durch die Betreuerin, und natürlich eine sensationelle Aussicht!

Die Wohnung trafen wir sauber an. Als Einladung war ein Sekt bereit gestellt mit Gläser. Ich finde es super, dass die Betten schon angezogen sind, somit bereit zum Schlafen. Die Schlüsselübergabe und Abnahme der Wohnung verlief unkompliziert. Solange ein Bus bis vor das Haus fährt ist es für Senioren geeignet, die nicht mit dem Auto anreisen.
