For shared use: swimming pool (7 x 5 m, depth 190 cm, seasonal availability: 01.May. - 30.Sep.). Outdoor shower, terrace. In the house: WiFi, storage room for bicycles, central heating system. Motor access to the house. Grocery 2.5 km, restaurant 200 m, bus stop "Ascona Moscia Linie 316" 400 m, railway station "Locarno SBB" 6 km. Golf course 4 km, walking paths from the house 5 m. Nearby attractions: Madonana del Sasso, Orselina, Locarno-Ascona, Ronco sopra Ascona, Falconeria, Kamelienpark, Piazza Grande. Hiking paths: Cardada, Monte Bré, Monti di Ronco, Vallemaggia - Valle Verzasca. Please note: animals in the neighbourhood. Terrace construction with wonderful panoramic views of Lake Maggiore. Location Description Ascona

196 m a.s.l. >>Ascona is the lowest-lying town in Switzerland. It lies 196 metres above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Ascona is famous for its old town, the southern lakeside promenade with its street cafés and its mild climate. In Ascona's old town centre, Borgo, lies the impressive church of San Pietro e Paolo, a pillared basilica from the 16th century, whose high bell tower is the landmark of the holiday resort. The branching old town streets lead to the car-free lakeside promenade with charming street cafés. Above Ascona lies Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. Here, lateral thinkers founded a colony at the beginning of the 20th century, which attracted celebrities from all over the world. Today, the mountain is a seminar centre for the universities of Lucerne and Zurich and a museum shows the history of the alternative colony and its founders. Die Lage der Wohnung ist grossartig, auch wenn etwas entfernt von Ascona. Der Swimmingpool auf der Dachterrasse ist ein weiteres Highlight.

Bereits zum 2.Mal verbrachten wir eine ruhige und erholsame Ferienwoche, dieses Mal in einer anderen aber ebenfalls bestens eingerichteter Wohnung. Die Verdunkelungsvorhänge fand ich toll. Aus Bequemlichkeit nutzten wir den angebotenen Brötchenservice nicht, die selber aufgebackenen Brötli empfehlen wir übers Wochenende.

Wir kommen schon mehr als 20 Jahre in die Siedlung Sollevante. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Renovation des Bades im 501 super. Leider war das Hauswartspaar D. und D. H. nicht mehr dort und sie fehlen. Wir freuen uns, wenn wir wieder kommen können.

Wir haben zu zweit eine (regnerische) Woche verbracht und waren grundsätzlich zufrieden. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig und vollständig. Das Bad ist frisch renoviert, die Küche wirklich klein. Merkt man, wenn die Restaurants zu sind... Wir werden wahrscheinlich wieder buchen.

Wir sind schon X mal in dieser Utorig Wohnungen gewesen. Zum letzten mal April 2020 1. Woche in der gleichen Wohnung.Zusätzlich 1 Woche in Davos. Total 4 Wochen immer gute Wohnungen. ( Ab wann gibt es Rabatt ? ) Besten Dank Alfred Dworzak PS Wiso gibt es im Tessin keine Gäste Karte ?

Die Teppiche im Wohnzimmer u.der Küche sollten ersetzt werden oder weggelasen. ( Braucht sie nicht ) Der Lichtschallter in der Kuche war schon letztes mal defekt !!!
