Partly with sloping ceilings, tasteful and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with dining nook, cable TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 140 cm, length 200 cm). 1 small children's room with sloping ceilings with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra). Bath/shower/WC. Boiler. Small balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Shop, supermarket 500 m, restaurant 300 m, bar, bakery 500 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.5 km, railway station "Wengen" 500 m, outdoor swimming pool 700 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 500 m, children's playground 300 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

1'274 m a.s.l. >>Famous, idyllic, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on top of a hill, situated at the foot of a mountain, on a plateau with beautiful view, 12 km from Interlaken, 15 km from Grindelwald. In the resort: shops, grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, night club, cinema. Wellness centre. Besides: doctor. Sights Männlichen, Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Trümmelbachfälle, Schynige Platte, Harder, First. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by railway. The journey is made by rack railway (extra) from Lauterbrunnen. Parking spaces available at the train station.

Heated outdoor swimming pool. Tennis (2 outdoor courts). Minigolf. Paragliding. Mountain lifts, cableways, hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing, children's hiking paths. Mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Ski-region Jungfrau-Top Ski Region, total of 43 lifts. Total 213 km ski runs (30 % easy, 50 % intermediate, 20 % difficult), snow park. Ski school (downhill), snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Winter walking paths 50 km. 4 toboggan runs. Artificial ice rink, curling. Free parking space for skis and ski boots at Central Sport.

We enjoyed four nights at this comfortable, well-appointed condo on the hillside in Wengen. The views were spectacular and the location was convenient to many activities in the area. On our walk from town to the condo, we loved passing by the pastures with the cows and goats, bells ringing. So charming! Glad to have stayed in quiet Wengen!

The apartment was lovely & quiet and in a convenient location, just 5 minutes from the Coop. It was clean,well equipped and in particular the washing machine & dryer were very handy. I enjoyed using the balcony for my breakfast. Being a top floor apartment, it was quite hot in the warm weather and I found I needed to take the duvet cover off the duvet so that I could just sleep with a sheet. The TV stopped receiving channels on my last night. I reported this so hopefully fixed for next guests.

This location in Wengen was a truly beautiful one. The apartment came as presented on VRBO. There was a well stocked kitchen, and the washer dryer combination was great. We felt that the internet should have been more reliable as it went in and out. This is a small thing, but the shower head was an odd kind that sprayed everywhere. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Flat was lovely and clean. The balcony has a nice mountain view and we really enjoyed breakfast outside. Lots of dishes provided, though non stick pans were quite worn. Also provided some basic spices and oil, which was very helpful, and a new kitchen sponge which was much appreciated! No shampoo provided. Flat looks quite lived in - hardwood floors are losing colour, couch is stained, and some wobbly furniture. All in all, I would stay again! Wengen was amazing!!

We appreciate your review, thank you. The kitchenwares and utensils are always checked and replaced as necessary at the end of a season. Although, guests should notify the keyholder on the spot, if any defects are found on the spot. The sofa will be checked.
