The hiking area Klåverödsdammen delights with many different routes of varying lengths. If you want to be out all day, the path from Skäralid to Klåverödsdammen is recommended. For the 17.4 km long path, you will need between four and five hours, with some breaks for bird watching being worthwhile.
The valley of the Fyleån is characterized by steep, tree-covered slopes and flat, expansive meadows. Its biodiversity makes the nature reserve an important protected area in Sweden, a destination not only for amateur ornithologists. Hike the 7.2-kilometer Fyledalen runt and discover the habitat of countless plants and animals.
The Aurora Sky Station is one of the most distinctive landmarks in Abisko National Park. You can start hiking from the tourist station and then follow the signs up into the mountains. The trail is 4 kilometers long and leads steeply upwards. Accordingly, you should plan for about 2.5 hours in one direction.
Enchanted forests, interspersed with steep cliffs and rocky gorges, characterize the image of this place. Discover Söderåsen National Park on one of the well-marked hikes, such as the 7.7-kilometer Hjortsprångsrundan. The route, rated quite high in difficulty, is worth it: the tranquility of nature is balm for the soul.
The area around Skrylle offers great opportunities for the whole family to engage in outdoor sports or to relax in nature. Especially in spring and summer, deciduous forests, pastures, and meadows invite you to take extensive trips – preferably with a picnic basket!
Between the numerous lakes of the region, the 14.6 km long hiking trail leads from Veberöd to Torna Hällestad. You cross some hills, cover about 350 meters of elevation, and can plan for three to four hours for the entire tour. The landscapes are characterized by old forests and many beech trees.
Primeval forests are becoming increasingly rare in Europe. Tyresta is also the largest of its kind in southern Sweden. Hike the Urskogsstigen circular trail, which translates to "Primeval Forest Trail," and get a first glimpse of the enchanted flora and fauna of the national park. The Urskogsstigen is 2.5 kilometers long and follows well-visible markings.
