Shop 700 m, supermarket, restaurant, bar, bakery, café, bus stop 2 km, railway station 60 km, diving center 2 km. Sports harbour 2 km, marina 2 km, golf course (18 hole) 13 km, surf school 55 km, sailing school 2 km. Nearby attractions: Almuñecar, Salobreña, Las Alpujarras, Valle de Lecrin, Nerja, Frigiliana. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Sierra Nevada. Hiking paths: Sierra Tejeda, Sierra Almijara. Please note: no lift. The owner does not accept any youth groups. Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. Property ref. ES5400.601.1 is situated on the same property. This beautiful house gets the sun all day and has beautiful views to the bay of la Herradura from every bedroom. Community pool is 30 meters away from property.

Location Description La Herradura

Resort with 3'000 inhabitants, in the south-eastern part of the peninsula, from Almuñécar, from Nerja, from Málaga. Situated in the 2nd centre of Almunecar. Town known for its natural characteristics, such as a bay that forms a natural harbour, to the east Punta de la Mona and to the west Cerro Gordo, forming a strategic enclave for the movement of maritime traffic and the different civilisations and monuments. The impressive bay has been turned into a a centre for diving, to the east Punta de la Mona and to the west Penon de Cerro Gordo. The beach is situated in a lovely area protected from the levante and poniente winds and with many bars and restaurants. With its rich marine life there are many diving opportunities as well as water skiing and sailing. To visit: Carlos III castle (Guardia Civil headquarters), Marina del Este harbour, Cerro Gordo and Punta de la Mona watch towers (16th century), Cerro Gordo countryside (different flora/fauna), typical andalusian districts (El Cerval, El Rescate and Guerra) and Las Palomas cave in the Cerro Gordo cliffs. Trips and hiking. Beaches: Berengueles (harbour), la Herradura, Calaiza and the Catarrijan naturist beach. Fiestas: San Jose (19 March), San Juan (23 June), Carmen (16 July). Maritime procession, Cruces de Mayo (03) and carnivals (feb-mar).

Zeer mooi en ruim huis! Prima onderhouden en goede schoonmaak. Het terras was fantastisch! Zonning, zeezicht en een fijne lounge. 2 badkamers met douche plus nog 1 extra toilet. Het huis heeft veel trappen, en ligt ook op een heuvel. Voor mensen die moeilijk te been zijn of met kleine kinderen, kan dit tegenvallen. Heel rustige buurt, 10 minuutjes van zee en centrum. Terugkeren is wel bergop. Zwembad was heel mooi. Zeker een aanrader voor een groep van 6 volwassenen.

Wat een fijn huis met 3 slaapkamers waarvan 1 met stapelbed en nog een grote slaapzolder. Voor privacy zou hier wel een toegangsdeur geplaatst mogen worden. De woning heeft een heerlijk terras. Ook de elektrische BBQ is heel prettig in het gebruik. De huiskamer is mooi en praktisch ingericht en voorzien van veel comfort. Het mooie zwembad wordt gedeeld met de andere bewoners. Er zijn voldoende ligbedden aanwezig. Het dorp met veel horeca ligt op 15 minuten lopen onderaan de berg.
