Location Description L'Escala

Idyllic resort with 10'000 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part of the region, directly by the sea, in a convenient position with beautiful view, 50 km north-east from Girona, 135 km north-east from Barcelona, 40 km from Frontera Francesa. In the resort: supermarket, shops, post office, restaurant, bar, disco, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Pitch and Putt Gualta 16 km, Skydive Empuriabrava 26 km, Parque acuatico Roses 32 km, Cultural events PortalBlau, festival de musica y artes, Fiesta local primera semana Septiembre. Access: motorway AP-7, exit number 5 "L'Escala-Empûries". It is one of the most picturesque towns on the Costa Brava, in the large gulf of Roses. Wide sandy beaches, gently shelving in places and separated by rocks. Boat hire. In the old town there is the parish church of Sant Pere de l'Escala and some pretty 18th and 19th century houses. Tourist tax: this is charged per person/per day, with a maximum of 7 days stay. Children of 16 years and under are exempt.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est bien placée dans Escala. On était à 15 min à pied de la plage de Riels, à 10 min des criques. Nous nous sommes aussi déplacé en vélo. L'endroit est calme

Fijn huisje, redelijk rustig gelegen (ook afh v buren). Toffe buitendouche en elk moment van de dag een schaduw plekje in de tuin. Nadeel zijn de harde stoelen en lastig zitten binnen.

Eenvoudige woning aan een rustige straat. De woning heeft een nieuwe keuken met alle apparatuur en een verouderde badkamer (die binnenkort gerenoveerd gaat worden). Door Corona is de woning een tijd lang niet bewoond geweest en dat kon je wel ruiken, ook doordat de laatste bewoners de openhaard niet goed hebben gebruikt. Verder alles prima en huisdier vriendelijk - geheel omheinde tuin. De lokale ganet super behulpzaam en dat maakte alles erg prettig.

Bona casa, en bon estat. L'únic que feia molta pudor a la xemeneia i va tardar més d'un dia en marcar aquesta olor i el lavabo necessitaria alguna millora. Tranquila i ben ubicada. Bon espai exterior.
