The landmark of Sorkwity is the castle, which you can find on the northern shore of Lake Lampasch. Towers adorned with battlements give it a romantic flair. The height differences are overcome with the help of cable cars and rail cars. You travel over the nature reserve of Lake Druzno.
Around Giżycko, you will discover a natural paradise. The town is known as a center for water sports. Canoe trips, pedal boating, and sailing are very popular. Worth seeing is the swing bridge over the Lötzen Canal, which is operated by hand and has existed since the 19th century.
