Torsoli 4 km from Lucolena: The Poggio is a beautiful independent farmhouse divided into 3 residential units, Torsoli (IT5269.840.1)) and Lucolena (IT5269.840.2) are two independent portions placed on the ground floor and below, where there is an apartment that the owner occasionally uses. Beautiful, rustic 3-family house "Il Poggio", surrounded by trees, meadows and fields. 15 km from the centre of Greve in Chianti, 16 km from the centre of Radda in Chianti, 35 km from the centre of Firenze, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position on top of a hill, in the countryside. For shared use: property 1 ha (fenced), large, well-kept garden with plants and trees, swimming pool (12 x 6 m, depth 120 - 160 cm, seasonal availability: 10.May. - 04.Oct.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. Private: garden. Garden furniture. Heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 15.Apr.. Motor access (50 m via unmade road). 236 m a.s.l. >>Greve is one the the most important town of the "Chianti Classico" area and every September hosts the most important Wine Show of the region. It has a lovely square with portico where occasionally there hold an antiques market. Well-known, historical resort with 2'700 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, 30 km south from Firenze, 40 km north from Siena. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

Een week lang verbleven we in dit huisje in het mooie Toscane. Het huisje was erg schoon en voldeed grotendeels aan de verwachtingen. Het is ruim genoeg voor 6 personen en het zwembad (infinity pool) heeft een mooi uitzicht. Er zijn een aantal aandachtspunten om rekening mee te houden. De keukenvoorraad is echt te beperkt (6 glazen bijvoorbeeld) en de wifi is matig. Ook ontbreekt een overkapping of parasol. Het zwemmen was lastig door de vele horzels, maar kunnen eigenaren niet veel aan doen.

Wij verbleven in dit huisje zonder airco. De weg ernaartoe is in zeer zeer slechte staat, dit staat echter niet bij de beschrijving van het huisje. Rond het zwembad zit het vol met insecten die je steken. De eigenaars zijn er overigens altijd en niet zoals beschreven af en toe. Kortom in dit huisje kreeg je geen lucht nergens enige verkoeling daarvoor moest je pas s’ avonds laat buiten gaan zitten. Dit huisje staat bij Top Rated maar is het totaal niet waard. Kortom een kat in een zak is dit!!!!

We are sorry to hear that this property did not meet your expectations. Please note that the desctiption indicates the road as Motor access (50m via unmade road). Being that the location is richly surrounded by vegetation, it is common to be surrounded by insects. The owner sometimes comes to clean the pool and cut the grass, they do not interefere with guests privacy, and their presence can be of help in case of any unanticipated issues.

Our host was at the house to greet us. We were a group of 5. Two couples and our adult son. A lovely house, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable but our son being a tall man found his bed on the mezzanine too short, in length. The settee and leisure chair need to Be upgraded as both were uncomfortable. Toilet paper was not provided and we had to ask for some, similiary, with a kettle. We did appreciate the kind gesture from our host of pastries on our first morning. The swimming pool was a delight to retreat to after a day’s touring in the Chianti Region. The instructions to find the house need to more clear as there was no signage either on the main road or on the house gate. Overall we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend II Poggio at Torsoli.

Lage sehr gut, Pool hervorragend, aber massenhaft Bremsen und Stechmücken. Die Betten unterdurchschnittlich, kein Klima, keine Ventilatoren, nur z.T. Fliegenfenster. Wenig und gestückeltes Geschirr, sehr kleine Duschkabiinen. In Summe: Lage und im Haus lebende Besitzer gut und nett, sehr schöner Pool und Außenanlage, aber Einrichtung sehr basal und mindestens neue Betten und Ventilatoren wären erforderlich. Sind wegen schlechtem Schlafen nur 4 Nächte dort geblieben.

Das Haus, der Pool sowie das gesamte Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt. Die Anlage ist ideal für Menschen, die die Einsamkeit und Ruhe in einer traumhaft schönen Landschaft lieben. Die Einrichtung ist typisch italienisch rustikal, aber voll ausreichend. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Italienischkenntnisse sind vorteilhaft, da die Verständigung mangels anderer Fremdsprachen doch etwas holprig ist. Ich würde dieses Haus immer wieder anmieten.

L. Haus, das wunderschöne Grundstück und die Lage in den Bergen zwischen Siena und Florenz ist nicht zu übertreffen. Vom Empfang bis zum Check-Out ist L. die perfekte Gastgeberin. Liebevoll, hilfreich aber auch zurückhaltend, so dass man den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Ganz in der Nähe - in Lucolena - ist eine preiswerte Dorfgaststätte (Casa di popolo), Auch ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen mit allen notwendigen Gütern ist vor Ort. Garten und Pool sind unglaublich schön. Danke!

Locatie is prachtig. Moeilijk bereikbaar(geen duidelijk adres en staatnaam geen huisnummer) Huisje minder. Geen waterkoker, geen microgolfoven, geen wasmachine. Te weinig couverts, glazen, koppen. Geen kast op verdieping. Superduur internet 4€/dag!!!! Moeilijke communicatie alleen Italiaans!!

La maison est conforme à la description. Très spacieuse, propre et bien équipée.La piscine et le jardin sont entrenus et la vue sur le Chianti avoisinant est imprenable. Les propriétaires sont au top. D'une gentillesse extraordinaire et très serviables. Ils nous ont donné plein de conseils et nous ont gâtés avec les fruits et légumes de leur immense potager. Nous y avons passé de très beaux moments.

Wir verbrachten mit Freunden zwei wunder-volle Wochen in diesem sehr schönen, mit viel Liebe aufgebauten toskanischen Land- haus. Unsere Vermieterin empfing uns mit sehr viel Herzlichkeit und zeigte uns aus- führlich die Wohnung im Haus sowie die örtlichen Gegebenheiten. Das traumhafte Grundstück mit wunderbarer Aussicht und dem großen Pool trug ganz wesentlich zu unserer Entspannung bei. Trotz der ruhigen und einsamen Lage erreicht man alle schönen Orte des Chiantigebietes in vertretbarer Zeit.

...genau das Richtige wenn man entspannen möchte...fern ab von jeglichem Stress. So liebevoll angelegt in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Die Vermieter sind wirklich sehr liebe und nette Menschen mit Herz. Wir möchten sehr gerne wieder kommen.
