Penia 3 km from Canazei: Child friendly, comfortable chalet "Cesa Galadriel", 1'555 m a.s.l., 2 storeys. 3 apartments in the property. In the hamlet Penia, 1.5 km from the centre of Alba, 3.5 km from the centre of Canazei, in a quiet position, 1 km from the skiing area, south-west facing position. In the house: central heating system, heating available only from 01.Dec. - 01.May.. Parking (limited number of spaces) on the premises, public parking 500 m on the road. Shop 300 m, grocery 100 m, restaurant, bus stop 100 m. Mountain railway 1 km. Please note: car recommended. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis.

Location Description Canazei

1'450 m a.s.l. >>Winter and summer holiday resort situated in the Val di Fassa valley, 56 km east of Bolzano, on the road to Passo Pordoi ( 2239 m) in the Dolomiti area. Beautifull view of the Dolomiti. Shops, restaurants, swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts and several bars and disco. Mountain village.

Summer

Cable car to the Belvedere from which there is a wonderfull view of the Dolomite. Rock climbing and walking path on the Marmolada ( 3342 m).

Winter

Ski-region Moena-Canazei, total of 60 lifts. 78 ski runs, total length 150 km, snowboard slope. Ski school, snowboard school, children's ski school, ski kindergarten. Canazei is also connected with the Dolomiti Superski: 450 wonderful ski runs for a total of 1200 km. Snowboards slopes. Ski school also for children from the age of 3. Many cross country ski trails.

Casa ok. Soggiorno/salotto con arredo pesante e datato. Divano sfondato e coprivano sporco.Cucina attrezzata ma lavello rovinato. Camere ok, letti comodi. Chiusura porta doccia bagno grande difettosa. Piano marmo dei lavelli bagno rovinato. Pulizia appartamento sufficiente. Balconi ok. Posto auto piccolo e scomodo.Scarse indicazioni dell'ufficio interhome per individuare la casa. Le montagne intorno bellissime fanno dimenticare i difetti riscontrati.

Het huis heeft alles wat je wilt, maar is donker en 'ouwe meuk'. Aantal dingen mag je niet aankomen (de haard) Wij waren met 5 mannen fietsen en vonden de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding negatief. Volgende keer toch maar airbnb, stuk beter in verhouding.

Al nostro arrivo la casa si presenta in condizioni igieniche pessime. Risultavano puliti solo i bagni. Polvere ovunque, pavimenti sporchi, goccie di caffè all'interno dei mobili, terrazzo esterno abbandonato a se stesso e a mio parere non pulito da mesi. Inoltre, presa di corrente divelta dalla sua sede, bicchieri non sufficienti a tutti gli occupanti, coperte e cuscini impresentabili. Per fortuna l'arrivo della proprietaria (all'oscuro di tutto) e la signora delle pulizie hanno risolto.

Wir haben das ganze Haus (große und kleine Wohnung) schon zum 4. mal gebucht und stellen langsam Verbrauchserscheinungen fest, insb. was die Küchenausstattungen betrifft. Teilweise Neuausstattung/Ergänzung wird empfohlen. Bei der Bettausstattung fehlte zudem ein Überzug für die Zudecke (in Coronazeiten!). Ausgehändigt wurde nur eine Matrazenlake und ein Überzug für das Kopfkissen. Gesamtwertung noch 2,5

Casa bella, spaziosa con tre ampi balconi e un bagno WC in più di quanto indicato.Penosa la camera doppia nel seminterrato,una porta collega ad altro appartamento da cui arrivano fumo di sigaretta e odori di cucina.Bellissime due camere con travi a vista.Spettacolare ma usurato il bagno padronale.Il letto a castello non ha presa di corrente/luce vicino.Orrenda la sovracoperta dei divani.I copripiumino dovrebbero essere lavati a ogni cambio.Stufa/camino vietati.Tassa soggiorno inclusa? mai in 8!

Leider ging der Urlaub mit einem sehr unfreundlichen Kontakt zu huetten.com los. Der Schlüsselverwalter im Ort hat schlecht bis kein Englisch verstanden und wenig Infos gegegeben. Die Heizung mussten wir erstmal selbst einschalten und alle Öfen, Grill und Feuerstellen waren mit verbotsschildern versehen. Da diese nicht auf den Angebotsbildern zu sehen waren, sind wir uns irgendwie ein bisschen verarrscht vorgekommen. Geld zurück fordern werden wir nicht - aber auch nicht mehr Buchen.

Great location for summer cycling. More than a dozen cols within riding distance. Penia has a nice bar and local shop and is less touristy than nearby Alba or Canazei. The chalet itself is very dark though. Feels almost subterranean. Combination of north-facing, very low overhanging eaves, wood panelling and dim/yellow light bulbs. A bit depressing. Had to take a bedside lamp into the kitchen for cooking. Also no duvet covers, only flat un-fitted sheets. Not very hygienic.

Das Angebot ist relativ teuer und täuscht ein alleinstehendes Haus vor. Tatsächlich ist es eine von 4 Gästewohnungen, dicht bebaut mit Blick ins gegenüberliegende Schlafzimmer. Die Wohnungsgröße ist ok, innen dunkel mit Billigsparlampen. 8 Gäste haben hier Parkplatznot. Die Ausstattung ist unvollständig: Keine Flüssigseife, kein Toaster, keine Spülmaschinentabs, keine Mittel für die Küchenreinigung, keine europ. Steckdosen, zu wenig Toilettenpapier.

Cesa Galadriel si trova in uno splendido paesino. La casa è molto spaziosa anche se alcuni particolari potrebbero essere più curati. La pulizia generale è da migliorare.
