Beautiful residence "Universo", 1'000 m a.s.l.. In the centre of Pre Saint Didier, 6 km from the centre of Courmayeur. In the house: reception, WiFi, sauna (extra). Hot tub (extra). Lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, heating available only from 15.Oct. - 15.Apr.. Bus stop "Pré Saint Didier" 500 m, indoor swimming pool 50 m, thermal baths "QC Terme" 100 m. Cable car 4.9 km, gondola lift 6.3 km, ski bus stop 50 m. Nearby attractions: Sky Way Monte Bianco 8.3 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Courmayeur 6 km, La Thuile 10 km. Location Description Courmayeur

1'230 m a.s.l. >>Courmayeur is one of the most famous resorts in the Val 'Aoste, situated at the foot of the Mount Blanc mountain range, 1224 m above sea level. The beauty of the surrounding countryside, the modern facilities whichallow summer skiing and its privileged location have made Courmayeur one of the most popular Alpine resorts in Italy. Chic, famous mountain village, situated at the foot of a mountain with beautiful view, 37 km north from Aosta. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocery, boutiques, bank, restaurant, bar, cinema. Thermal bath oder hot springs.

Summer

Courmayeur has many walking and paths which run across the land between Plan Checrouit and Val Veny. Many open air sporting activities available: horse riding, golf, many tennis courts etc. The Mont Blanc sports centre, with its very attractive and beautiful ice rink, is one of the most spectacular in Europe.

Winter

2 funicular railways connect Courmayeur and Entreves to the Courmayeur-Checrouit-Val Veny where you can enjoy wonderful views of Mont Blanc. 4 mountain railways, 1 cable cabin, 8 chair lifts for 100 km of pistes. For those who love cross country skiing, the Ferret valley has 35 km of lcross country ski rails. Calais 920 km. Planned dates for 2007/8: resort opens 8 Dec 2007. Resort closes 25 Apr 2008 (tbc). Ski-region Monte Bianco/Mont Blanc, total of 20 lifts. 25 ski runs, snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school, snowboard school, children's ski school. Cross country ski tracks. Winter golf course.

Unterkunft sehr zentral, Parkplatz vorhanden, wenn es in der HS voll ist kann man für 5 Euro im nahen Parkhaus der Therme parkieren. + sehr sauber + sehr freundliches Personal + gute Lage für beide Skigebiete + Küchenausstattung ausreichend für die Ferien + nettes Restaurant im Haus - etwas hellhörig - Wifi nicht immer stabil - Matratzen für unseren Geschmack eher hart/ sehr hart

Bene la "cucina" è una accozzaglia di mobili e elettrodomestici mal funzionanti (il frigorifero si chiudeva male, di 4 piastre elettriche ne funzionava 1, se veniva accese le altre - e non contemporaneamente- scattava il salvavita, cappa non funzionante). Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this place. Electricity is limited in this area, therefore it is best to run 2 stove plates at a time if other equipments like TV and dishwasher are on at the same time. The refrigerator requires to be pushed closed properly, though it is fully functional. The cooker hood works.

Bene la "cucina" è una accozzaglia di mobili e elettrodomestici mal funzionanti (il frigorifero si chiudeva male, di 4 piastre elettriche ne funzionava 1, se veniva accese le altre - e non contemporaneamente- scattava il salvavita, cappa non funzionante). I coprivano sono talmente lisi da sembrare sporchi. Impossibile aprire le finestre la sera data la quantità di insetti presente. Palestra non presente (al suo posto uno squallido sgabuzzino) idromassaggio su richiesta messo in una stanza buia piccola e senza finestre, con un quadro elettrico probabilmente più vecchio di me. Soffitto pericolante in tutta casa. Che dire, un disastro vero e proprio. Peccati perché con poche centinaia di euro si riuscirebbe a dare decoro al singolo appartamento perché, dato il costo settimanale non proprio esiguo, la clientela si aspetta di più sicuramente

personale molto disponibile e gentile; ma per il resto: - mobilio troppo vissuto ed in condizioni di logorio - frigo in formato ridotto - pulizia iniziale carente (e frigo trovato allagato per sbrinamento non gestito) - TV non ricevente i canali Rai - dotazione di pentole scarsa (no padelle) - no condizionamento, quindi si tiene finestre aperte: ma ci sono fumatori fuori e la puzza entra in appartamento - prezzo caro,in rapporto ad altre soluzioni di terzi con maggior qualità - wifi a tratti ko
