Please note: the owner lives on the same property.

Location Description Karlshagen

Small bathing resort, in the north-western part of the island, directly by the sea, 10 km north from Zinnowitz, 12 km north-east from Wolgast, 42 km east from Greifswald. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Sights Raumfahrtmuseum Peenemünde 7 km, Stadtmuseaum Wolgast 12 km, Wellness park Bernsteinstherme Zinnowitz 10 km. The seaside resort is located between the Baltic Sea and the Peenestrom, embedded in extensive deciduous and coniferous forests that reach right up to the dunes. Between Karlshagen and Peenemünde is the widest sandy beach on the island (nudist section, dog beach) with surfing opportunities, beach chair rental and beach stage. At the harbor: moorings, fresh fish sales. Harbor festival (last weekend in July) and concert weekend (last weekend in August). Nature conservation center (exhibitions, lectures, guided hikes).

Sandy beach, gently sloping. Sports harbour. Sailing, surfing, rowing. Tennis. Minigolf. Riding in Bannemin 6 km. Fishing (permit required). Beach volleybally court. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire.
