2-room terraced house 32 m2. Living/dining room with TV. Alcove with 1 x 2 bunk beds. 1 room with 1 french bed. Kitchenette (oven, 3 induction hot plates, microwave). Bathroom, sep. WC. No heating option. Terrace, west facing position, patio. Terrace furniture. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, extra). Parking space n 23. Please note: non-smokers only. Smoke alarm. Instead of an enclosed bedroom, some sleeping areas are located in an open-plan area (gallery, alcove, etc.).

Residence "Les Palombes". On the outskirts, 2 km from the centre, 2 km from the sea, 2 km from the beach, in the woods. For shared use: swimming pool (12 x 8 m, depth 100 - 180 cm, seasonal availability: 15.Jun. - 15.Sep.). Shop 2 km, supermarket 2 km, bus stop "Marie Curie" 850 m. Golf course (18 hole) 3 km, tennis 1 km, riding stable 15 km.

Location Description Lacanau

Situated in the middle of the Landes national park with its wild beach of 100 k m surrounded by forests and its lake of 200 hectares, busy, family-friendly bathing resort, 60 km north-west from Bordeaux, 80 km north from Arcachon. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, restaurant, bar, disco, casino, cinema.

Summer

In August, World surfing competition. 80 km of cycle routes. Sailing, surfing, sailing school, water skiing, canoeing. Tennis (21 outdoor courts, 2 indoor courts), squash, golf course 18 hole in l'Ardilouse, 2 more golf courses within a radius from 1 - 2 km. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Bicycle paths, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que les eaux usées s'évacuaient difficilement dans les sanitaires et la salle de bain. Le dimanche matin, la chasse d'eau était bouchée et le lavabo de la salle de bain inutilisable. Nous sommes restés dans cette situation jusqu'au lundi soir. Autre désagrément : les alèzes et couvertures étaient pleines de taches. Nous avons dû les laver. De plus, nous n'avons pas reçu le kit d'entretien lors de la remise des clés.

Excellentes vacances dans cette location au cœur des pins qui apporte calme et fraîcheur. Le logement est à 20 min à pied de l’océan par un chemin pédestre et vélo.

Location agréable, particulièrement la terrasse exposée ouest avec un grand dégagement ! La propreté des lieux pourrait être améliorée et manque un petit lave vaisselle. Bonne adresse cependant !

* Le ménage était à peine survolé alors que la femme de ménage venait de sortir. Aucune désinfection pour le COVID n'a été réalisée. Il est évident que la femme de ménage fait semblant. * La maison est délabrée. A part la cuisine, tout est à refaire d'urgence (sol, fenêtres, terrasse, et surtout salle de bain dans un état pitoyable. Il est inadmissible qu'une prestation pareille soit encore proposée en 2020 . * Nous n'étions absolument pas à l'aise dans cette ''maison''.
