Location Description Royan

Family-friendly bathing resort with 5'100 inhabitants, 5 km south from Royan, 15 km south from St Palais sur mer, 82 km south from La Rochelle. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Royan is at the mouth of the estuary of the Gironde, in the Poitou- Charentes part. This is the largest estuary in Europe. The station is located opposite the Pointe de Grave and Medoc, location and land of famous wines such as Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien, Listrac, Moulis, Margaux and many others...At only 65 km from Cognac, eponyme of the world famous "eau-de -vie". Including the area aperitif Pineau des Charentes .

Sandy beach. Sports harbour. Diving, sailing, surfing, sailing school, water skiing. Tennis, squash, golf course. Riding. Hiking paths. Mountain bike routes. Main market in Royan. Cruises between the islands of Oleron, Re, Aix. The huge 400 ha La Coubre forest is located in the north, it stretches from St Palais to La Tremblade.

Het huis was vuil, stinkend. Slaapzettel oud en versleten. Pro: Locatie en terras Contra: Te warm en geen voorziening zoals ventilator \nBedden te oud en niet proper \nEr was ook geen toilet papier \nMijn kinderen konden niet staan in de kamer batkamer trok ook op niets dit huis is geen cent waard en zeker geen 750 zelfs de rolluik werkte niet wij werden wakker door de zon om 5 uur !! Is dat normaal echt een grote schande

Bonjour, maison mal isolé il y faisait trop chaud, chambre sous toiture surtout celle des enfants une fournaises. Ce qui serait bien pour la rendre plus agréable l été ce serait une clim.

Le logement est idéalement situé près de la plage et d'un accès rapide au réseau routier pour aller se balader. Le logement est très bien équipé notamment au niveau de la vaisselle. Il est petit avec 2 ados. L'escalier est raide mais on s'y habitue rapidement. Il bénéficie d'une petite terrasse qui est hélas non grillagée ce qui ne permet pas de laisser son chien en liberté. Il est situé dans une résidence bruyante l'été.

La maison était idéalement placée, près de la plage. Le rez de chaussée est très bien agencé, la salle de bain permet de ne pas avoir à remonter une fois descendu des chambres. Petit bémol : les escaliers en pas japonais très raides. La terrasse nous a permis de prendre tous nos repas en extérieur. Très bon séjour
