Welcome to Ruka, 22 km north from Kuusamo. Enjoy your holiday in an atmospheric, practical and well-equipped holiday home in Ruka. The location of Rukamaja is excellent: close to the services of the Ruka Tourist Centre and Oulanka National Park, e.g. ski trails 50 m, ski bus stop 30 m, Ruka village (West Ruka) 3 km. Rukamaja is a modern, well-equipped and comfortably furnished holiday apartment in a quiet location in the popular Kesäjärvi cottage area. Services in walking distance, for example grocery shop and safari services about 1 km distance from the apartment. Excellent apartment for families and couples. You can ski almost from the aparment yard and even get to the ski slopes without a car, the ski bus stop is about 30 m away. The nearest lift is Talvijärvi, the nearest restaurant is Rukatonttu, Ruka village is about 3 km away. Apartment area 58 m², of which 10 m² is in the loft (so-called full-height space). In addition, there is space in the loft that is less than 160 cm high. The apartment has an excellent floor plan, which makes the feeling of space more than the square footage suggests. Combined kitchen (fully equipped) / livingroom with sofa, armchair and fireplace. Downstair bedroom: separate beds for two. Separate loft bedroom with curtain: separate beds fro two. Open loft with a bed (135x180cm). Shower, sauna (electric heater), 2 x WC (on both floors). Storage space in all sleeping areas. Blackout curtains in the bedroom and sleeping alcove. Air source heat pump for cooling available free of charge for bookings which start or end during period 15th June to 31st August. 7 m² glassed terrace. 4 m² woodshed/ski storage. Additional information: Tumble-dryer, sledges for children. Samsung Smart TV x 2 (in the living room and downstairs bedroom, requires a shared internet connection from the customer's mobile phone). DVD/BluRay. Hairdryer. High chair and a pot. Child safety gates on top and down (stairs). Other distances: Oulanka National Park/Pieni Karhunkierros -trail 22 km. Swimminp possibility in Kesäjärvi beach (about 200 m distance). Smoking is strictly forbidden in the apartment and on its terraces! Bringing pets into the apartment is strictly prohibited. If there has been smoking in the apartment or on the terraces or if a pet has been brought into the apartment a fee of EUR 400 + cost of ionization and allergy cleaning will be charged. The resident must read the cottage folder of the apartment. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings). You are not allowed to bring a hot tub or similar items to the venue. Please, notice that if you have not booked final cleaning as an additional service and it's not done properly or at all, the caretaker will charge increased cleaning fee.
