Relax with family or friends in a peaceful, clean, and cozy accommodation. The apartment is situated within a short walking distance (approx. 300 m) from the shores of Lake Lokka, where you can also find a public hut. The Luiro riverside and Lokka suspension bridge are 200 m away. The house is old but well-maintained. All rooms are on one level and provide the basic comforts of a detached house (including electricity, running water, indoor WC, and sauna). There are three bedrooms with a total of 6 beds. The spacious living room guarantees comfort for a larger group. The living room has 2 sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. The apartment includes a large heated storage room where you can dry and store your belongings. The storage room also has a washing machine. The house is surrounded by a large fenced yard, offering plenty of space for both children and dogs. Pets are allowed for an additional fee (fee per reservation). Good mobile network coverage ensures that remote work is possible if needed. During the winter, you may have the opportunity to enjoy the Northern Lights in the courtyard. The village-maintained ski trail passes by the cabin, allowing you to start skiing right from the yard. There is a woodshed in the yard, and the wood can be used to heat the sauna. The fishing harbor and boat ramp are 1.5 km away. The house does not have its own boat, but at the fishing harbor, you may have the chance to buy fish when fishermen are present. The nearest shops, restaurants, and refueling services are in Sodankylä at 86 km or Savukoski at 80 km. A small, basic supplies store, Sandran puoti, is 46 km away in Tanhua.
