190 km to the north from Rovaniemi, lake Tiurajärvi 20 m (length 1,2 km, width 0,4 km), shallow beach, rocky, hard, humus bottom, the reedy beach is not well suited for swimming. Planed log cabin, inner walls are paneled, built in 1989, renovated later. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, 2 beds with uniform mattress pad in sleeping alcove, sauna and washroom/WC. Cooking hut with gas grill (no fireplace). This property is also excellent for viewing the northern lights (usually from October), the location of the cottage is favorable without disturbing outdoor lighting. Pets are allowed; pet fee is charged per a pet. Please notice that pets can not sleep on the sofa or beds. Please, bring your own sleeping pad and food dish for your pet and remove droppings on the yard area. Convection fireplace. In addition, cabin is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer. Järvenpää is a lakeside cabin with amenities in a quiet area. The ski trails and routes of Tunturi Lapland are easily reachable by car. Nearest point of the ski trail network is in Äkäsmylly Cafe, distance 6 km. Äkäslompolo 17 km, grocery store Jounin kauppa 17 km. There is a bus connection from Kittilä airport to the Äkäslompolo. Pallas-Yllästunturi national park 10 km at the closest. Steep-walled ravine lake Äkässaivo (historical Sámi people worship place) about 8 km, walking distance about 1 km. Ski slopes of Ylläs (Äkäslompolo) 21 km, Fell Olostunturi 30 km, Levi 65 km. Shortest possible rental period is 5 days.
