Location Description Vejers Strand

Cosy bathing resort with 70 inhabitants, directly by the sea, 35 km north-west from Esbjerg. In the resort: supermarket. More possibilities for shopping 12 km. Sights Kærgaard Plantage 13 km, Refugee Museum of Denmark 13 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

Sandy beach, 3 km long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children. Minigolf. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Wir haben die Woche im Haus sehr genossen. Die Zimmer, Ausstattung, Terrasse und der Whirlpool sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden das Haus nochmals buchen.

Ein wirklich schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. In den dänischen Ferienhäusern ist es üblich, wenig Schrankraum in den Schlafzimmern zu haben. Hier gibt es für alle Schlafräume nur einen Kleiderschrank. Alle übrige Kleidung kann nur in offenen Regalen, die in den Schlafräumen sind, abgelegt werden.

Es war frisch renoviert, als wir dort waren. Der Außenwhirlpool war super. Die Sitzecke des Wohnzimmers biete allerdings kaum genug gemütliche Sitzplätze für 4 Personen. Im Feld hinter dem Haus waren häufig Rehe, die auch ins Zimmer geschaut haben :-)
