House/Residence

Single-family house, built in 1936. 500 m from the sea. For shared use: garden. Private: natural state property 2'279 m2, garden (fenced). Terrace (50 m2), barbecue. In the house: washing machine, tumble dryer. Parking at the house. Grocery 400 m. The owner does not accept any youth groups.

Location Description Vejers Strand

Cosy bathing resort with 70 inhabitants, directly by the sea, 35 km north-west from Esbjerg. In the resort: supermarket. More possibilities for shopping 12 km. Sights Kærgaard Plantage 13 km, Refugee Museum of Denmark 13 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

Sandy beach, 3 km long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children. Minigolf. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Das Haus ist wirklich außerordentlich gemütlich und prima ausgestattet. Lediglich die Schlafzimmer im Haus sind sehr klein. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, konnten wir die Schränke von 2 Zimmern nutzen. Um die Betten kann man seitlich nicht vollständig herumgehen. Ist etwas schwierig, wenn man nachts aufstehen muss.

Dieses Haus werden wir auf keinen Fall nochmal buchen. Es ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und ungepflegt. Das Bad und die Küche sind winzig. Mit mehr als vier Personen sollte man auf keinen Fall anreisen. Das Wohnzimmer ist merkwürdig aufgeteilt. Der Preis für das Haus ist viel, viel, viel zu hoch. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.
