House/Residence

Single-family house, built in 1965. 13.2 km from the sea. For shared use: garden. Private: property 1'000 m2, well-kept garden (fenced). Terrace (40 m2), children's playground (slide, swing), parking at the house. Carport. Grocery 200 m. The owner does not accept any youth groups.

Location Description Tarm

Small resort with 4'100 inhabitants, in the western part of the region 10 km from the sea, on a river (Skjern Å), 30 km south-east from Ringkøbing, 50 km north from Esbjerg. In the resort: grocery, bakery, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Skjern ENge nature area 6 km, Bork Vikingehavn 25 km, Kids' club Wow-Park 20 km, Legoland 50 km, nature reserve.

Summer

All watersports available in Skaven strand 10 km. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 10 km from the resort. Surfing. Golf course 18 hole in Dejbjerg 13 m. Riding. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. Children's playground. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Das Haus war ordentlich und bis auf Kleinigkeiten sauber, die Ausstattung war überragend. Es war alles da, was man braucht und das in ausreichender Stückzahl, auch Kinderbesteck und Geschirr, was wir aber nicht benötigt haben. Es gab sogar einen Sonnenschirm, einen Weber Kugelgrill, der etwas sauberer hätte sein können und es gibt über dem Tisch auf der Terrasse sogar eine Heizpilz-Lampe, so dass man auch an kühleren Abenden dort noch sitzen könnte (bei uns waren es im September tagsüber noch über 30°). Die Relaxsessel sind sehr bequem, wir überlegen, uns solche für zu Hause anzuschaffen. :-) Die Betten sind, wie in allen dänischen Häusern, sehr weich, aber nicht durchgelegen. Wir hatten keine Rückenschmerzen. Auch das Sofa war nicht durchgesessen. Leider wenig Stauraum für mitgebrachte Lebensmittel / Einkäufe in der Küche und für Klamotten, wenn man mit mehr als drei Personen kommt, aber für uns zu zweit völlig ausreichend. Es sind Stufen im Haus, daher ist es für Rollstuhlfahrer wohl eher nicht geeignet.

Der Preis und die Unterkunft stehen in keinem Verhältnis zu einander. Bei der Anreise war alles noch dreckig. Der Kühlschrank ist sehr alt und hat gestunken. Der Abfluss im Bad war defekt. Das Bettzeug hatte Blut- und Schimmelflecken. Einfach nur eckelhaft!

Das Ferienhaus wirkt etwas abgenutzt (Einrichtung, Betten, Sanitär). Insgesamt ermöglicht es aber einen sehr schönen Urlaub :)
