Location Description Lemvig

Idyllic resort with 6'900 inhabitants, in the northern part of the region, directly by the sea, 55 km north from Ringkøbing. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna at 1 - 15 km. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights JyllandsAkvariet 24 km, Jesperhus Blomsterpark 80 km, Kids' club Legoland 130 km, lakes nearby.

Summer

Sandy beach, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 4 km from the resort. Sports harbour. Surfing. Summer sports 2 - 15 km. Golf course 18 hole. Minigolf. Riding in Mølgård Ridecenter 10 km. Fishing (permit required). Paragliding. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Es war wieder sehr schön und erholsam. Das Haus ist gemütlich und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend wo jeder die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Wir würden auch ein weiteres Mal gerne wiederkommen. Vom Geschirr bis Töpfe Pfannen, Besteck alles vorhanden. Wir waren / sind zufrieden. Michael und Marina

Wir hatten ein paar unerwartete Staus und waren dementsprechend erst weit nach 17 Uhr bei der Schlüsselübergabe. Das war aber kein Problem und die Übergabe funktionierte reibungslos. Das Ferienhaus selbst roch am Anfang etwas muffig, was auch an dem hohen Temperaturen gelegen haben mag. Nach ausgiebigen Lüften war das aber dann kein Problem mehr. Nur die Betten ließen, wie so oft, zu wünschen übrig. Die Matratzen waren stark durchgelegen. Die tolle Landschaft und der leere Strand hat das aber voll aufgewogen. Wir waren mit 2 Hunden da. Alles in allem hatten wir ein schöne Zeit.

Der Strandabschnitt beim Haus ist toll für Sonnenuntergänge. Wir können auch mal ein (eigenes) Abendessen am Holztisch bei den Shelter Plads am Fering Sö empfehlen (sehr romantisch; ein Tisch ist direkt am Uferrand des Sees). Wer tagsüber gern am Strand ist, dem empfehlen wir Höfde Q, ein Strandabschnitt etwas weiter südlich in Fjaltring. Auch Lemvig ist toll, um am Hafen ein Fischbrötchen bei Bjarnes Fisk zu essen. Dort ist auch ein großer Discounter um die Ecke, um einen Wocheneinkauf zu machen. Wir haben uns öfter frische Kartoffeln direkt beim Bauern geholt. Hierfür stehen immer Schilder am Straßenrand (Bezahlung und Entnahme in Selbstbedienung).

Schönes kleines, sauberes und gut gepflegtes Haus mit Charme. Das Bad ist sehr winzig, aber ordentlich. Sehr ruhige Gegend, fast schon einsamer Strand. Die tolle überdachte Terrasse ist schon fast wie ein zusätzlicher Raum nutzbar. Sehr schnelles und zuverlässiges WLAN. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Harboöre, über Vrist gut und schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt.
