Resort, built in 1974. 50 m from the sea. For shared use: indoor pool. Grocery 1.6 km. Golf course 100 m. The owner does not accept any youth groups.

Location Description Fanø

Large, well-known bathing resort with 3'500 inhabitants, in the western part of the region, directly by the sea, 10 km west from Esbjerg. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, bank, restaurant, bar, museum. Fitness centre. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Kids' club Legeland Indoor playground 2 km, Skovlegeplads Forest playground 9 km, nature reserve. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by boat from Esbjerg 5 km. Car ferry Nordby Fanø - Esbjerg 10 km.

Summer

Sandy beach, 15 m long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 3 km from the resort. Surfing. Minigolf 2 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths. Children's playground. The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland. If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south. By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

Sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Es fehlt Stauraum für mitgebrachte Dinge und defekte Leuchtmittel sollten ausgetauscht werden. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne und gemütliche Wohnung.

Es war ein schöner, spontaner Familienurlaub zu Viert in dieser kleinen Wohnung. Der Ausblick ist einfach toll. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Anlage ist nicht mehr topmodern, das Schwimmbad drinnen sollte ein wenig modernisiert werden. Großer Aufenthaltsraum mit Tischtennisplatte, Sofas, großem Spielebereich für die jüngeren Kinder.

Auch nach 45 Jahren Urlaub auf Fanö kann man immer noch etwas neues entdecken (außer Bernsteinsuchen..), und seien es neue Wanderwege in den Dünenwäldern im Süden der Insel. Die Unterkünfte im Feriencenter nutzen wir bereits seit einigen Jahren immer wieder zu zweit, das Appartment A220 zum ersten Mal. Es ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet wie alle Ferienwohnungen dort, und man hat einen tollen Blick aus dem großen Fenster bzw. vom Balkon direkt aufs Meer. Was die Ausstattung und die Liebe zum Detail angeht, ist A220 eher Durchschnitt, da hatten wir schon sorgfältiger und überlegter ausgestattete Appartements dort. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die abgetrennte Dusche im Bad, das vermeidet Überschwemmungen. Gäste sollten beachten, dass im Schlafzimmer zwei Einzelbetten stehen, so dass man auch zwei Spannbettlaken mitbringen sollte, statt einem großen, wie man es in anderen Apartments zum Teil benötigt. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt in A220 zufrieden, und nach Fanö werden wir natürlich immer wieder kommen, trotz der anstrengenden langen Fahrt von Köln/Bonn aus.

Fantastische Meeresaussicht! Die Wohnung ist insgesamt in Ordnung und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber die ganze Anlage ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.
