Location Description Thisted

Small, busy town with 13'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, directly by the sea, 95 km south-west from Ålborg, 180 km south-west from Skagen. In the resort: shopping centre, supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Thisted Brewery, Isbjerg, Nationalpark Thy 15 km.

Summer

Beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 1 km from the resort. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 7 km from the resort. Sea water outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Golf course 18 hole 16 km. Minigolf. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Wir haben die Wassertemperatur runter geregelt. Sonne und Wind sind eine gute Alternative zum Wäsche-Trockner. Das ist nachhaltig und reduziert obendrein die Nebenkosten.

Wir haben zwei schöne und erholsame Ferienwochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es handelt sich zwar um ein eher unauffälliges bzw. unspektakuläres Häuschen, das jedoch nach Platz und Ausstattung allen Anforderungen einer fünfköpfigen Familie in einem Selbstversorgerurlaub gerecht wird. Das Haus ist in einer idyllischen Dünensiedlung mit zahlreichen anderen Ferienhäusern gelegen, wobei die Häuser und Anwesen sehr individuell gestaltet und großzügig bemessen sind, sodass man nicht das Gefühl bekommt, "aufeinander zu hocken". Hervorzuheben sind die Laufnähe zum Strand, zu den Surfshops, Lokalen, zum Supermarkt und zum örtlichen Büro von "Sonne und Strand". Die Mitarbeiter des Anbieters sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation ist sogar auf Deutsch sehr gut möglich. Die Küche ist funktional und ausreichend ausgestattet; Schlaf- und Badezimmer sind einfach gehalten; mehr Komfort haben wir aber auch nicht bedurft. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gemütlich und hell. Es erweckt den Eindruck, als sitze man warm und windgeschützt mitten in den Dünen. Wasch- und Geschirrspülmaschine sowie ein moderner Fernseher und WLAN sind vorhanden. Das Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Strandbesuche sowie Wanderungen und Radtouren im Nationalpark Thy. Für passionierte Surfer ist die Lage ohnehin optimal.

Ein sehr schönes Haus in wunderbarer Lage für eine kleine Familie. Man fühlt sich wohl und hat genügend Platz. Es ist alles vorhanden. Wenn man etwas benötigt, ist der Service von Sol og Strand sofort freundlich zur Stelle und kann helfen! Vielen Dank, bis bald!
