Location Description Knebel

Small resort with 650 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, directly by the sea, 17 km east from Ebeltoft, 50 km north-east from Århus, 50 km south-west from Grenaa. In the resort: grocery, restaurant. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna at 17 km. Besides: pharmacy 17 km, doctor 500 m. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 10 - 17 km. National park Mols Bjerge 4 km, Sights Molslaboratoriet Natural History Museum 9 km, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft 19 km, Kattegatcenter Grenaa 45 km, Wellness park Lübker Square Nimtofte 34 km, Zoo Ree Safari Park 30 km, Kids' club Djurs Sommerland 30 km.

Summer

All watersports available in Begtrup Strand 5 km. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 5 km from the resort. Surfing. Golf course 18 hole in Kalø Golf Club 18 km. Fishing (permit required). Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, mountain bike routes, mountain bikes for hire. Djursland and Mols are surrounded by sea on 3 sides. The varying stretches of coast and the hilly landscapes were created during the latest Ice Age. Here you will find child-friendly, white beaches on all sides of the peninsula. Further inland the peninsula is characterized by vigorous nature, exceptional views, moor areas, woods, meadows, lakes and streams. Northern Djursland is known for its towering limestone cliffs that are several million years old. Mols Bjerge in the southern part of the area is a magnificent landscape with a varying nature, a number of walking tracks and a rich animal life. It is ideal to visit the area on food, on bicycle or on horseback. Furthermore, Djursland is characterized by its many well-preserved castles, manor houses and estates, decorating the landscape.

Det er et dejligt hus med en rigtig god indretning og en fantastisk udsigt. Wildmarksbadet er fint med plads til 6 voksne. God vejledning fra ejer via deres egen mappe over huset.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit super Meerblick! Die Ruhe wurde im September lediglich, leider auch am Sonntag :-( , durch das Rasenmähen rundrum gestört. An die dänischen Duschen, mit Überschwemmung des Badezimmers inkl., werde ich mich nie gewöhnen. Warum immer Duschvorhänge - liebe Vermieter? ;-)

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir bedanken uns bei den Gastgebern und der Vermittlung. Wir waren schon öfter in Dänemark zu Besuch und kannten uns daher im Ferienhaus gleich aus. Dieses Haus war wohl schon länger nicht mehr vermietet. Es waren überall Spinnweben und auf der Terrasse wuchsen schon Pflanzen zwischen den Ritzen durch. Beim Zählerstand muss man sich daher darauf verlassen, dass dieser erst kurz vor der eigenen Ankunft abgelesen wird und man den zwischenzeitlichen "Leerstand" nicht mitbezahlen muss. Kühlschrank etc. war bei Ankunft nämlich schon kalt und das Wasser warm. Wir haben vorsichtshalber ein Foto des Zählerstands bei An- und Abreise gemacht. (Wasserverbrauch wird nicht berechnet) Den holz beheizten Hot-Tub haben wir benutzt. Es liegt nur eine Anleitung zur Verwendung der Chlortabletten im Haus. Weitere Informationen zur Benutzung waren nicht zu finden. Aber wir haben es auch so geschafft. Finde es aber vom Eigentümer mutig, keine Anleitung dazuzulegen. Man kann bei falscher Bedienung auch was kaputt machen. Auch habe wir ihn hinterher gut gespühlt und gereinigt, ich hoffe unsere Vorgänger haben das (ohne Anleitung) auch so gemacht?!. Als Recyclingweltmeister haben wir vergeblich nach einer Abgabemöglichkeit für Plastikabfall gesucht, sowohl am Hafen als auch am nächsten Supermarkt waren nur Papier und Glas/Dosencontainer zu finden. Nachdem wir kein Bettwäschepakte gebucht haben, und nicht recht wussten, welche Größen vor Ort benötigt werden, können wir folgende Informationen weitergeben. Es waren lauter Einzelbetten in allen Schlafzimmern.. Die Bettlaken 90x200 haben von der Breite her gepasst aber von der Länge her saßen sie sehr stramm. Perfekt wäre wohl 100x220. Die Anreise führt nach Verlassen der Autobahn nur noch über schmale Straßen, hier genug Zeit und Geduld einplanen.
