Location Description Grenaa

Historical, picturesque town with 14'300 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, directly by the sea, on a river (Grenaaen), 60 km east from Randers, 63 km north-east from Århus. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Museum Østjylland 1 km, Kattegatcenter 3 km, Wellness park Lübker Square Nimtofte 23 km, Zoo Skandinavisk Dyrepark, Wildlife Park 25 km, Kids' club Djurs Sommerland Nimtofte 24 km.

Summer

Sandy beach, 8 m long, gently sloping, with beach facilities, suitable for children, 3 km from the resort. Sports harbour Grenaa Marina in 3 km. Surfing. Golf course 18 hole 6 km, 27 more golf courses within a radius from 23 km. Minigolf 5 km. Fishing (permit required). Beach volleybally court. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, 23 km mountain bike routes, bicycles for hire. Children's playground. Djursland and Mols are surrounded by sea on 3 sides. The varying stretches of coast and the hilly landscapes were created during the latest Ice Age. Here you will find child-friendly, white beaches on all sides of the peninsula. Further inland the peninsula is characterized by vigorous nature, exceptional views, moor areas, woods, meadows, lakes and streams. Northern Djursland is known for its towering limestone cliffs that are several million years old. Mols Bjerge in the southern part of the area is a magnificent landscape with a varying nature, a number of walking tracks and a rich animal life. It is ideal to visit the area on food, on bicycle or on horseback. Furthermore, Djursland is characterized by its many well-preserved castles, manor houses and estates, decorating the landscape.

Wij zijn 14 dagen op vakantie geweest in dit zeer goed uitgeruste vakantiehuis. Het huis is erg netjes en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Super!

Unser Urlaub in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus war sehr erholsam. Es ist alles was man benötigt im Haus und es ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr gross und gepflegt. Der Strand ist zu Fuss erreichbar, es war allerdings sehr steinig. Da der Ort noch nicht so wirklich an den Tourismus angeschlossen ist, muss man fast überall mit dem Auto hinfahren (einkaufen). Aber wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub in Gjerrild.

Vi har som altid en god ferie i gjerrild, jeg tror vi har været der i ca. 30 år. Min fætter boer på Bodilvej , der startede vi med at komme indtil de flyttede ind hele året. Håber vi kan komme igen næste år, men vi er ved at være lidt gamle 88 og 85, men vi traver da nogle gode ture i skovene endnu. Else og Jørgen Bechmann

Wir haben wieder ganz wunderbare zwei Ferienwochen gehabt und kommen gerne wieder! Das Haus ist der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen!

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit mit 5 Personen in dem Ferienhaus. Es bietet genug Platz, einen überdachten Außenbereich in dem man auch etwas windgeschützter sitzt und eine große Terasse. Die Terassenmöbel sind hochwertig und bequem, so dass man dort gerne viele Stunden verbringt. Für den großzügigen Außenbereich bietet der Schuppen eine bunte Auswahl an Spielgeräten. Die Küche des Hauses ist gut ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, großem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, vielen Schüsseln, Tellern und auch mal genügend scharfe Messer. Sogar Gefrierdosen gibt es, so dass man Essensreste mal für einen Tag verwahren kann oder sich etwas für den Strand vorbereiten kann. Das Badezimmer überzeugt mit seiner angenehm großen Dusche. Wir haben wirklich nichts vermisst, vielen Dank, dass wir 2 so schöne Wochen dort verbringen durften!
