Location Description Aakirkeby

Small, medieval resort with 2'100 inhabitants, in the southern part of the island 3 km from the sea, 15 km south-east from Rønne. In the resort: supermarket, shops, bakery, bank, restaurant, museum. Fitness centre. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Aa Kirke. Access: no access to the resort by car, reachable only by boat from Køge 170 km. Car ferry Køge - Rønne 18 km.

Summer

Sandy beach, 3 km from the resort. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. Bornholm, the island of contrasts, is characterized by its spectacular rocky coasts, deep quarries and waterfalls in the north, its kilometres of white sandy beaches in the south and its beautiful beech forests with forest lakes in the centre of the island. Denmark's only rocky island radiates a quite special atmosphere with its small idyllic fishing villages, the characteristic smokehouses, the round churches and the many sights. Many craftsmen reside on the island and in various places it is possible to visit the local sculptors, glassblowers, potters and painters. Almindingen is the country's fifth largest forest. A beautiful and varied forest in a highland with i.a. ponds and small lakes. This is also the location of Rytterknagten, the highest spot in Bornholm (162 m). At the rocks Helligdomsklipperne between Gudhjem and Allinge, steps lead down through a deep gap. Rugged rock formations in the water contribute to the creation of spectacular scenarios.

Huset ligger tæt på by og indkøbsmuligheder

Det er et meget åbent område hvor det blæser meget og pool er på toppen af en bakke. Der var to dage hvor de rensede pool en hel dag, så man ikke kunne bade. Det er meget uprofessionel og når man kontakter ham som ordner pool er han ligeglad eller ikke tager telefonen. Huset er meget slidt og beskidt og den hjemmelavet bruser i badeværelset, er ikke til at finde ud af, da der er 3 steder vandet kan komme ud, man skal dreje sammen sted ved den alle. Der er meget service osv. i huset som er dejligt, hvis man selv laver mad og kan få kogepladerne tændt! Huset ligger med udsigt til en mark og er meget misvisende i forhold til billederne, hvor det ligner man har udsigt til poolen. Dette er en vigtig information med små børn. Der er heller ikke noget om det i husbeskrivelsen.

Det er ikke ok at skrive, at bruseren er hjemmelavet - den er opsat af professionel håndværker, men det er selvfølgelig ærgerligt, hvis man ikke kan finde ud af at betjene grebene, så bedre held nøste gang, som vi talte om det ved aflevering af nøgle, hvor vi tlbød personlig betjening ved booking, da vi jo kender alle huse og deres beliggenhed. Hvis man gerne vil bo ud til pool, så ring gerne og lad os rådgive. Det er helt i orden, at ringe til lokalkontoret for at få hjælp og assistance, når der er brug for det - vi hjælper gerne med, hvad vi kan.
