Steinach am Brenner: Centrally located between the provincial capital Innsbruck and South Tyrol, modern resort "Bergeralm Chalets by Alps Resorts". 21 houses in the resort. 600 m from the centre of Steinach, in a sunny position on a slope, 130 m from the skiing area. In the house: central heating system. Parking at the house. Supermarket 1.1 km, restaurant 1.1 km, bus stop 130 m, outdoor swimming pool 2 km. Skisport facilities 130 m, ice rink 2 km. Nearby attractions: Innsbruck 28 km, Südtirol 12 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Bergeralm 250 m, Stubaier Gletscher 45 km. Hiking paths: Gschnitztal 10 km, Sattelberg 20 km. 900 - 2'113 m a.s.l. >>The Wipptal is one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys. It includes 11 communities with unique characteristics. Here you can experience the diversity of this Tyrolean holiday region, with the towns of Matrei, Steinach and Gries, as well as the Obernberg valley. Unspoiled countryside, numerous hiking and mountain climbing and superb mountain bike trails attract nature lovers and run through one of the largest larch forests of the Tyrol. The Obernberger lake is approx 1600 m above sea level - the emerald green water is too cold for swimming, but with a rowing boat so you can discover the largest natural lake in the Stubai Alps. Holiday centre, 24 km south from Innsbruck. In the resort: bar. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna, solarium. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. More possibilities.

Summer

Steinach-Bergeralm with water adventure world "Baerenbachl" (nature-water-study course), gondola lift and double chair lift for summer/hiking. All watersports available in Steinach. Outdoor swimming pool. Tennis, golf course 18 hole in Rinn 25 km. Summer skiing in Stubaiergletscher 45 km. Paragliding. Hiking paths, mountain hikes, climbing. Bicycle paths, mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire.

Winter

Ski-region Steinach-Bergeralm, total of 6 lifts. Total 23 km ski runs. Ski school, children's ski school from 4 years old. 90 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths. Toboggan runs. Ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Night skiing 3 times a week 7 km away. Unspoiled slopes to ski on at Nösslachjoch.

Fijn dat het huisje dichtbij de skilift was. De 4 lampen in de woonkamer zijn ongezellig en veel te fel. Het zou handig zijn als er ook een ovenschaal is om bijvoorbeeld lasagna te maken.

Wir waren für 4 Tage in Steinach am Brenner. Die Ferienhäuser sind sehr zentral gelegen, der Ski lift ist fußläufig erreichbar. Unser Chalet war mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Das Chalet war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Lediglich wäre eventuell eine Erklärung, wie man den Ofen anschalten kann von Vorteil gewesen.

Top Ausstattung Pro: Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet und war auch sehr sauber. Genauso wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Contra: Die Sauna war für ein Haus für 8 Personen recht klein, sodass nur maximal 2 Personen hineingepasst haben. Eine Erklärung wie der Kamin anzufeuern geht, wäre auch von Vorteil gewesen, dies haben wir erst nach einigen Probierversuchen geschafft.
