Excellent accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the local area and the Spey Valley in general

We had a wonderful time here. The views of the mountains and Loch are amazing and always changing. The lodge was very comfortable. The aftermath of storm Amy (fallen trees and branches etc) were tidied very quickly.

The cottage was lovely, comfortabke, clean and all facilities you need. I would rate it very good but Interhome charge a few £100s more than if you book directly. Sso definitedly not value for money.

Positives: Good information and ease of access. Great location with a fantastic view overr Loch Leven; very handy for access to/from M90. Very clean with great wi-fi Negatives: We were suprised at the amount of cleaning required of departing guests. For a property having accommodation for 6 people, we found that the crockery and cutlery quantities just about adequate. There was a serious lack of drawer space in all the bedrooms, just the odd shelf unit

Everything there you need. Very silent spot, you could even hear the sea rolling at night. Only to find it and get your car on the reserved parking is a challenge:-)

Achmony no7 is very well situated high up on the hill above Drumnadrochit. Quiet and well constructed. However it now needs some attention to a number of minor details, such as missing lightbulbs, toaster that does not work properly, rather tired balcony with temporary supports recently attached etc., etc. We gave a full list to the agents to assist. Despite this it is good value for money. No regrets and the agents are very good.

Discover United Kingdom

In the southwest of Great Britain, the elongated peninsula of Cornwall captivates visitors with its rugged landscapes and rich Celtic heritage. You can book a holiday village in the UK directly on the coast and savor pure moments of tranquility. For hiking enthusiasts, holiday villages in Wales and Scotland offer ideal accommodations, with Scotland renowned for its majestic mountains.

United Kingdom - Best natural sights

Scafell Pike

Scafell Pike

In the English county of Cumbria, Scafell Pike is the star among the mountains in the lovely yet rugged Lake District National Park. It rises amidst a volcanic landscape of lakes, green hills, and rugged mountain ranges. Below, the dark water of Wast Water, the deepest lake in England, shimmers mystically.

Durdle Door

Durdle Door

Not far from the village of West Lulworth in the southern English county of Dorset, the Durdle Door forms one of the most striking stone arches in the world. The tall rock on the English Channel is distinguished by a prominent hole that the waves have eroded over millions of years. Although the impressive natural formation is on private property, it is accessible year-round.

Cairngorms National Park

Cairngorms National Park

The Cairngorms National Park is the perfect destination for extensive hiking in the Highlands. Additionally, one can engage in rock climbing and mountaineering, as well as skiing in the winter. The most well-known mountain ranges include Angus Glens and Monadhliath. Good starting points for activities are communities like Kincraig and Newtonmore.

Northumberland Coastline

Northumberland Coastline

The coast of Northumberland is protected over a stretch of about 64 km and offers excellent opportunities for nature exploration from Berwick-Upon-Tweed to the River Coquet. Be inspired by the wide beaches, coal fields, and historic fortresses near the A1 road. Cultural highlights include Bamburgh Castle.

Cheddar Gorge

Cheddar Gorge

If you are traveling in the south of England, don't miss a visit to Cheddar Gorge! It is the largest gorge in Great Britain. The rock walls, up to 113 meters high, are made of limestone. The 4.8 km long natural paradise is perfect for hiking.

Lake District

Lake District

For the English, the Lake District is a mythical place: Here, between narrow glacial lakes and rugged mountain peaks, the popular stories of children's book author Beatrix Potter are set. The area first gained significance in the 18th century: Due to the many wars raging there, continental Europe was denied to the British as a travel destination.

Seven Sisters

Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters are located between Eastbourne and Seaford. The coast is a popular hiking area. Together with the surrounding area, it forms the Seven Sisters Country Park. Immediately after the last cliff at Eastbourne, you come across the Belle Tout lighthouse and Britain's highest chalk cliff, Beachy Head.
