Day 1
In the far south of France, just a few kilometers from the Spanish border and the Pyrenees, the tranquil community of Saint-Cyprien welcomes you with its 11,000 inhabitants. Spend the first day in the village enjoying some sunny moments on the beach. Between April and October, the temperatures are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. But even around the turn of the year, the beaches are popular destinations for leisurely walks in the fresh sea breeze. Some of the most well-known bays in and around Saint-Cyprien include the city beach, which is just a few meters from the town center, Plage Pont-Tournant, and Balneaire Beach. The latter is particularly recommended for families with young children. The water is very shallow for a long distance, allowing the little ones to play in the shallow Mediterranean and build sandcastles. Refreshments and snacks can be found in the immediate vicinity of the beaches or alternatively around the nearby, upscale marina.
Day 2
Use the second day in Saint-Cyprien for a trip to nearby Perpignan. With 120,000 inhabitants, the university city is one of the largest cities on the border between France and Spain and rich in cultural highlights. From your holiday resort, it is only about 13 kilometers to the center, where you will find most of the historical sights. Start your city tour best at the Palace of the Kings of Mallorca, which was built here as early as the 13th century. Afterwards, take a look at the El Castillet tower, the only remaining structure of the medieval city fortifications. Other landmarks of Perpignan include the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, built between 1324 and 1509, and the main train station. It was designed by the iconic artist Salvador Dalí and is the face of the city of Perpignan in modern times.

Plan a nature excursion for your third day in Saint-Cyprien to discover the breathtaking landscapes of the region on your own. In the summer months, many vacationers enjoy going to the dream beaches in the south of France or crossing the border into Spain to relax on the Catalonian coast.
