The resort is situated in one of the largest areas in Europe, the Portes du Soleil. Avoriaz can be reached via the ski runs. From geneva (TGV) : by coach Génève-Thonon then Thonon-Châtel. By train : Annemasse - Thonon then Thonon-Châtel by coach.
