Climate
The pretty village of Huntly is situated on the main road between Inverness (approx 77 km) and Aberdeen (approx 70 km) and approximately 22 km from the sea and beach at Banff. It is ideally situated as a holiday centre within easy reach of all the varied attractions offered by the Grampian Highlands: heather covered hills, rolling farmland, cool forests, colourful fishing villages, quiet beaches, ancient castles and fascinating whisky distilleries all wait to be discovered. Facilities available: tennis, putting, table tennis, roller skating, cricket, fishing, indoor pool, pony trekking and horse riding, skiing and mountain biking, walks, Huntly Castle, Falconry Visitor Centre, museum, craft gallery.
