Historical city directly by the sea. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Adana (ADA) 90 km. Mersin (formerly: Icel) is a province of Turkey on the Mediterranean coast. The province borders Antalya to the west , Adana in the east and Nigde. There are remains of the Hethitite fortress dating back to the 13th or 14th century in the west of town. Along the coast one can visit numerous ancient towns, places of interest (heaven and hell, Aynaligoel caves, Kayaci). Kayaci Vadi is at the same time one of the most beautiful canyons in the world.
