Climate

This small valaisan village remains untouched by tourism and is on the southerly slope of the Rhine Valley, about 8km above Brigue. The hamlet of Nussbaum is at an altitude of 1000m, 2km above the departure point for the Betten-bettmeralp cable car, or about 20 minutes walk below Betten. Train station: Betten (Furka-Oberalp line).
