36 m. >>Small resort with 6'000 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part of the region, convenient, 35 km south-east from Girona, 105 km north-east from Barcelona. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, attractions. Access: access via a good road. Railway station "Caldas de Malavella" 30 km. Palamós 6 km. St.Antoni de Calonge 5 km. P.N. "Les Gabarres" 5 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Barcelona-Prat Llob. (BCN) 125 km, Girona-Costa Brava (GRO) 50 km. Castle and town hall date from 11th century. In July/August there is a classical music festival at the castle. Golf courses (5-10km away). In the surrounding areas 3-5km you will find St Antoni de Calonge, Palamos. In summer there are water restrictions in some urbanisations. Golf course in Pals 20km.
