211 m. >>Large, well-known, historical city with 57'000 inhabitants. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal pool, wellness centre, health cures at 15 km. Access: motorway D1 Zilin - Bratislava, exit number "Trencin". The town is situated in the south west district of Bile Karpaty (natural border between Slovakia and the Czech Republic) and has an 11th century castle Trencin. Possible excursions (max. 55 km): Thermal towns Trencianske Teplice, Bojnice with zoo and world famous castle, ruins Beckov; Bad Piestany. For arrivals by plane: airport Bratislava (BTS) 130 km, Wien International (VIE) 192 km, Uherske Hradiste (UHE) 63 km, Piestany (PZY) 50 km.
