Well-known holiday centre. All shops, restaurants etc. in Poprad 12 km. Liptovský Mikuláš 50 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Bratislava (BTS), Wien International (VIE), Tatry/Poprad (TAT). Situated in the nature reserve "Tatransky narodni park" at the foot of the Slavosky Stit mountain (2552 m); starting point into the central part of the "High Tatra", into the Velicna valley, Velka Studena and Mala Studena. A narrow road leads from the town of Poprad to Strbske Pleso.
