Spa resort with 6000 inhabitants, situated at 520 m of altitude, on the edge of a park. It is one of the oldest Spa resort in Slovakia. It is situated 22 km south from Martin, 32 km noth east of Banska Bystrica. Worth a visit the caves of "Harmanecka Jaskyna" 15 km, the small village of Kremnica with the castle 30 km away, Mosovce 8 km.
